Chicken meal is a high quality concentrated protein source that contains muscle meat. By law it may not contain heads, feet or intestines. Chicken by - product meal contains a variety of chicken “parts” including heads, feet and intestines.

Why do you use garlic in certain formulas?

We add a trace of garlic to our canned dog food to increase palatability. While it is a member of the onion family, garlic does not contain a meaningful amount of disulfide and will not cause a dog to become ill.

I have a 1 and a half-year-old westie that's 17 pounds, this food says it's specially made for your 'teacup, toy or miniature dog or puppy'. Should I stop feeding this food to him since he isn't a teacup, toy or miniature dog or puppy? He eats fast which is why I got the small sized pieces.

The dog food is for all life stages of Extra Small, Toy and Small Breeds so you can feed it to your Westie.

Are smaller food bits good for dogs who inhale their food (ie eat very fast). I have two 22lb pugs and we do use a slow feed bowl also.... but wondering if this would be better for digestion since with larger pieces I'm pretty sure they don't chew at all-- just swallow whole
