no interest

I try to offer my picky dogs plenty of options so they continue to eat consistently. I added this one to my rotation and my girls weren’t interested. I love the kibble size, but they didn’t even want to sniff it. After about an hour of this sitting in their bowls for breakfast I had to offer something else because they had no interest. I will be trying other health extension goods in the future, but not this one.

Picky Siberian Husky Love It!

Our Siberian is very picky about his food. When we adopted him he was underweight and wouldn't eat the food they had him on Wellness Core.We tried 3 other brands and he wouldn't eat it. We came across Health Extension and decided to give it a try. Was happy to see that I could buy a 1 pound bag instead of a large bag only to return it if he didn't like it. Well, we decided to try both the Chicken recipe and the Buffalo Whitefish. He liked both! We went with the Buffalo because of the higher protein, but we like to switch it up with the Chicken to give him a variety. He's put on his weight and his coat is beautiful! Our other two dogs love it too. A Yorkie and Poodle mix. Give the 1 pound bags a try! You just might find the food your dog loves ❤️

New for my doggie

This is the first time I tried this food for my doggie. Sometimes I give her some as a snack. She scarfs it up. I would recommend it

not interested

So far since the loss of my Siberian my Dingo has become extremely 'picky' in eating so I am still in the process of finding something he will eagerly accept and this definitely was not so to donation time to animal shelter.

Great For Dogs With Chicken, Turkey, Duck, etc. Allergies.

Both of my pomeranians have severe allergies. One is allergic to pretty much all meat protein... and has to be on a plant based diet (vet recommended). The other is severely allergic to all poultry. This has been great for my younger boy and he actually wants to eat it- Which, is rare, as both of them typically turn their noses up to dry food.

Happy Girl

My dog really loves it. She even eats it just dry and doesn't have any flatulence.

My dog loves it!

We got a new puppy, and the breeder recommended this food for her. She loves it, and is doing so well on it. I'm also really glad for the price on this bag, the store near us is double the price for the same food.

Small bags are great if you have a natural disaster

Where I live is prone to hurricanes nearly every year, so we either have to evacuate or stay put, and during these times stores are shut down. Everything is shut down, so it is good to have extra food on hand for these times. These small bags of food are so convenient to have put away, and keep for quite awile. So, if they arent used during the hurricane season, they make a nice wintertime meal. A good meal after a storm or during a cold day makes all the difference, whether you have 2 or 4 legs.

Great ingredients but...

There was something in this food that did not agree with my Shepherd mix. Her hair began falling out and got super thin. She also was not eager to eat it. Switched to another brand and she's doing much better.
