Feeding Instructions
Feed as a snack or treat as part of a health diet. Break into small pieces for small dogs. Always monitor your pet while treating. We recommend giving 1 biscuit per 10lbs of your dog's body weight.
Give your dog the basic ingredients for robust health and a long, happy life with Health Extension foods for dogs. Health Extension has been feeding pets holistically for over 60 years, cooking up recipes with all-natural, highly digestible meat proteins and whole food ingredients like leafy vegetables, antioxidant-rich berries and pure coconut oil. It’s a natural choice you can feel good about.
Solution-Based Nutrition
Health Extension meals use whole food ingredients carefully chosen to help support stronger bones, good immunity, healthy skin and coat, keen hearing and eyesight, and plenty of energy and stamina in your dog. They never use any by-products, gluten, wheat, corn, soy, GMOs or artificial flavors, colors or preservatives—just delicious, wholesome real foods for a taste your dog will love!
Healthy, Natural Protein
Meat sourced from American farms, along with select cuts from France, Australia and New Zealand, provides the quality protein your pup needs to thrive. These natural recipes use only free-range, cage-free chicken, turkey, meats and fish, with no antibiotics, steroids or artificial hormones—ever! You can even trace each ingredient that goes into Health Extension recipes right on their website.
American-Grown Produce
Whole food ingredients grown on American farms provide nutrition you can rely on. Health Extension uses quality carbohydrates like brown rice and oatmeal instead of high-glycemic cereal grains to better suit the metabolic and nutritional needs of canines. And they never source anything from China—not even their vitamins and minerals!

My little guy is eating them but only if there isn't anything else available. But I am sure over time he will come to like them a bit more.

He loves them
First time buying these, and our Frenchie loves them! Very tasty treat according to him. They’re a little big for his mouth, but snap in half easily... so that works well.

Too Big for Small Dogs
Although they can be broken into pieces they are too big for small dogs like Yorkies. My dogs love them but I wish I didn’t have to break them up just to give them a treat. I wish dog food companies made product in multiple sizes appropriate for various dog sizes.

When a dog spits out the treat....
......that means there's something wrong with it. I even tried burying it in his daily meals, twice, and he ate everything but the Health Extension treats. I tried both the lamb one and the salmon, with the same results. This, after I just ordered a larger quantity because he loved them before. The lamb was he "go to" treat for walks and training. Not any more. He definitively spits it out!

Five Dogs — Five Stars
My dogs have always refused crunchy dog biscuits, preferring very expensive chicken jerky and the like. However, they LOVE these so much. I am switching from the 6-ounce to a couple of 2.5 pound packages of these. If my extremely finicky dogs like these, I bet your fur kids will also.

These pass the smell test
My dog loves these. A nice blend of fruit and meat AND they pass the smell test. When you open the bag you get a whiff of fruit not that rank smell sometimes associated with dog treats
