    They don’t like it

By Brett on May 2, 2021

Tried this one and overall the birds and squirrels don’t like it. Just the reality. It looks good, but the mix isn’t as appetizing for whatever reason.

eastern songbirds seem picky about this suet

By Jess on Mar 6, 2021

For some reason, the birds and squirrels are not gobbling this suet up. It has been in the 30's here, chilly, perhaps that's a reason this suet is not appealing to the critters.

    Great Product, Great Sale Price

By Nancie on Jan 18, 2021

I have been using this suet for years and have noticed how the price has crept up in the stores. CHEWY had a great sale price ad shipping was quick. The packaging was quite secure and the suet arrived in perfect condition. I had never thought of using CHEWY for wild bird products, but there you go!

    Nice suet cakes

    By sweetkittylover on Feb 25, 2021 top1000Contributor

These suet cakes are very good and they birds enjoy them. They draw a nice variety as well - cardinals, blue jays, purple finches, flickers, and woodpeckers to me feeders.

    My birds hate this

By ElaineW on Dec 22, 2020

I put out suet cake all the time but wanted the convenience of delivery. I know how long suet cakes last in my feeder & yard and this lasts 2-3X longer. The birds eat this one so very slowly. Not surprised, though, it's kind of sticky and icky to handle unlike other brands, and breaks apart very easily. High suet to nut ratio.

    Feeding the birds

By Cindy on Dec 20, 2020

The birds seem to really like this and is a pretty good deal. The cakes are a bit larger size than many found in the stores we usually shop so price really wasn't any more expensive. And it isn't as soft as some other brands which makes it less messy to feed.

Heath Bird's Blend Select Suet Cake Wild Bird Food

By masotosky on Oct 26, 2020

I am very disappointed in this item. It was meant to be great for Eastern birds. However I have tried two cakes out of twelve. One in a Suet Feeder and one bare in a suet holder. Unfortunately No birds or squirrels are interested in this. No one had eaten any of it. There may be a nibble here and there but they sit and nothing is eating it. The rats, mice, possums and raccoons are not even interested. These cakes sit out there and nothing in interested in them.. I think there is something wrong. I will ask Chewy for a refund.

    Backyard birds love it!

By StaceyAnnUSA on Oct 25, 2020

All summer we've been feeding our backyard friends seeds & peanuts. With colder weather creeping in, I wanted to offer the birds an alternative to just seeds, something that offered more caloric & energy benefits. Our birds are thrilled! Blue Jays, Cardinals, Black-Capped Chickadees, Titmouse, Red & White Breasted Nuthatch, plus 2 different species of Woodpeckers. And yes the squirrels like it too... lol

    My wild birds love it

By MisMan on Jan 2, 2021

I love to watch the birds come around in the winter time. This birdseed is the best. I have a big feeder and I have to refill it almost every other day.
