Good for the money
By jwalpole on Feb 27, 2021
Cats and I both enjoyed the interaction this brought. As noted elsewhere, even with swept, vacuumed floor wheels pick up hair very easily, would like at least an easier way to removewheels for cleaning. Other observation, cats have trouble picking up with mouth, a little more tuft would allow for realistic prey catch. Maybe better weight to keep self righted. Now for the money what is presented is great and I realize the things mentioned as improvements would increase cost, a cost that I would be willing to pay for as an improved model. Somewhere in the 25-30 dollar range I think.

Entertaining for Cats and their Humans (pros/cons)
By AWolf on Jan 25, 2021
Basic summary: it's a decent product - definitely entertaining - there are things that would make it better, but over all a fun toy that I'm okay giving a thumbs up to. Pros: Definitely engaged my previously stray hunters - they went nuts for it when it hid under things from them or just escaped their grasp; once you get the hang of the controls it's pretty easy to maneuver to make it pretend like it's a real mouse (quick little movements, rapid turns, 'nosing' around at stuff) - not perfect, but decent - better than I expected; reasonably easy to clean off; perfect mouse-like size. Cons: Wheels pick up hair quickly, which leaves it spinning in circles in one place (or not moving at all Basic summary: it's a decent product - definitely entertaining - there are things that would make it better, but over all a fun toy that I'm okay giving a thumbs up to. Cons: Wheels pick up hair quickly, which leaves it spinning in circles in one place (or not moving at all). Even if you vacuum a lot, be prepared to tweezer hair out/off the wheels, recommend doing this every time you use it - not that big a deal, but worth noting (I expect the wheel/hair issue will eventually be the fail point for the product); remote control power/range is a little weaker than I had hoped for; remote controls, while good for the price point, do take a bit to get the hang of. Cost: About what I'd expect for something like this. Test conditions: I run it on hardwood and tile, both it handles well. No carpets in my house, though I suspect it would run slower and get clogged up with hair/carpet fiber more quickly on carpet. Verdict: At the end of the day, this is a great sort of toy to use to engage a cat - right up their alley! I hope we see a newer version at some point, or a wider variety of options on the market for toys like this. … more

Good Solid Hour of Play...
By April on Feb 3, 2021
... until they decided to drown it. Before its unfortunate demise, the toy was easy to use and well received by the cats for play time. It does accumulate hair in the wheels rather easily, so make sure you've swept or vacuumed before letting this little friend loose. Supervision, even when not in use, is a must unless you too want to discover your new $20 electronic cat toy in the bottom of the water bowl.

Not worth a cent
By Bizquick on Feb 5, 2021
Strait out of the package and it didn't work the mouse seems to have power (it turns on and off) but the controller does not. got back on chewy to read reviews and about half of the people were having the same issue, whether it didn't work right away or it stopped working after a short period of time. Im not impressed at all!

Good plaything
By Pumpkin on Feb 8, 2021
This remote control mouse works pretty good, but is almost impossible to "steer". We really can't make it go where we want. Tends to fall down our stairs. Too bad ----------- it's cute and the cat seems to like it.

wheels too sensitve
By nancy on Dec 21, 2020
she likes this mouse but the wheels are too sensitive, one of the wheels has picked up some of her hair and gotten it wrapped around. now it will only go in circles. i am going to see if i can get it out to fix the problem, otherwise it will be a waste of money.

Kitten loves it!!
By Sophia on Nov 16, 2020
My kittens (9ish week and 10ish week old) loves this toy! One of them is hairless so he gets cold a lot and is very lazy and even he likes it. Only downfall is that it does scare them if you move it to fast, especially if you move it towards them. So if your cat is scared easily, maybe avoid this. Besides that, terrific toy and entertains the entire family!

Sad but it broke
By Leah on Dec 5, 2020
My cat LOVED this. We played for about 15 minutes and suddenly the mouse became unresponsive. It’s likely the batteries have died? But I’m not replacing batteries after 15 mins of play... but if you get one that doesn’t break- it’s great!
