One of our many cats has very dry skin—in particular, she has issues with dandruff and dry little paws. We often give her coconut oil massages after big brushing sessions. That said, we were excited to give this a go. She seemed to really enjoy getting a lil foot massage and it appears to be helping! The product is cute and easy to use—the packaging design is perfect for its intended use. The quality is also good. I always seek out and prioritize products with high-quality ingredients for anything we use with the kids. The balm is not too greasy or melty, but you also don’t have to rub hard to get a good amount of product on the bean toes. It reminds me of a chapstick in terms of consistency. We even rubbed some of the excess product into the rest of her skin and brushed it through and it visibly helped with her dandruff for days. All in all, I really liked it and would repurchase. I just wish our senior dog would let me touch his feetsies—this would be great for him, too!

I’ve been using this paw butter moisturizer a few times a week for my dogs paw pads and on the nose of one of my pups. The packaging is well made and you twist the bottom of the container to raise or lower the product (like a chapstick or deodorant container). The paw butter goes on smoothly and is odorless. Neither pup licked their paws, but they did enjoy licking the hard flooring where they stepped after application. Both pups paw pads are in good condition already so I didn’t notice any change there. But my one dog is prone to developing a severely dry outer nose in the summer, so I’ve been using this in the evenings on her nose instead of aquaphorin and it’s worked great with less mess when applied. She doesn’t mind the application and although not much of a licker, the few times she has licked at her nose with it on she didn’t mind or react to any taste there might be.

There are better options

I really wanted to like this product, but i opened it on a warm(ish) day - maybe 75 degrees- and it was very soft. In this stick form, it was very easy to over-apply when it was soft. Once I placed the tube in the fridge to firm up, it was much neater. The smell is somewhat astringent, but i didn’t find it offensive and it does leave paw pads softer. I would have preferred this in a tub; the tube lools good, but it can be wasteful if it warms up too much.

This paw cream smells nice and is very soft and silky. That said I wouldn’t be able to use this in my house for my two cats. Indoors, they put greasy paw prints everywhere as soon as it was applied. Outside, they both had pine needles stuck to their soft supple toe beans after it was applied. I would say this could probably be used at night before bedtime. A bonus use was removing pitch from my kitties toes when he tried to climb the fir tree, it softened it right up and I wiped it away. I would use this on my feet, and put socks on after! 😁

The best we've found

My dog has really stopped fighting us when we started using this. It's a bit softer and she actually seems to enjoy it. Has improved her paws in 10 days!

I like this product. It has a nice, natural smell and an applicator that is easy to use. I use it on my older dogs feet and allergy related hot spots. It helps soothe and soften her paws and rough irritated skin. I also have used this on my cats dermatitis. It definitely helped soften his skin too. Dont have to worry about them licking some off as it has all natural ingredients. I'll admit....I even use some on a couple small dry spots on myself. Works great!

I’ve been using paw butter on my dog’s pads for a couple weeks now, and I’m impressed with the results. His paws were getting dry and a little rough from daily walks on pavement, but after a few applications they already look softer. It’s easy to apply and I like that it’s made with natural ingredients so I don’t worry if he licks at it a little. Great for daily use. A little goes a long way!

I have two collies and I think this has been good for their paws. It is easy to apply and helps to protect their paws. I wondered if it would make their paws to soft, but it doesn't, it just makes them feel nice and I don't worry about their paws getting to roughed up when they walk on black top or concrete.
