Frisco Hippo Textured Plush Squeaky Dog Toy, Medium/Large

My pup LOVES his toy. He carries it around everywhere and when she goes to play outside gives it to me to take care of.

In a world of overflowing toys these Frisco textured plush are one of my girls favorites! They absolutely love chewing, squeaking, and snuggling with them. This one in particular is a favorite because it’s just simply adorable!

Stood up to my super chewer

Got this hoping my guy wouldnt decimate it the first day. Beat up but still able to be played with.

hippo is a favorite!

My Airedale terrier is notorious for destroying plush toys with ropes on the inside so I thought I’d try the hippo to see if she would like the squeaker and the large ball in it’s tummy. She already caved the ball in on itself but she lugs that hippo around everywhere she goes. To me, that’s a win! Especially, because I’ve caught her multiple times snuggling with it :)

Disappointed in this item.

My dogs have always had good experiences with Frisco products. This toy did not meet expectations. Although the outer fabric is soft and sturdy, the round squeaker was too large and hard (stiff). My dogs like to shake their soft toys and I was afraid that they would hurt themselves if the squeaker part of the toy hit them while they were shaking it. The toy is so cute that I didn't want to toss it out, so I just removed the large squeaker and now my dogs can shake away, fully enjoying their new toy.

this toy is mind blowing

My dog rips most plush toys to shreds. My grandmas dog destroys anything that’s not rubbery. The two pulled and tugged on this toy for almost an hour and all he lost was an ear. So sturdy. So cute. Highly recommend for destructive dogs.

Broken Toy

Dog (who is not a heavy chewer) broke the squeaker in less than 5 minutes. Like this brand but not this specific toy.

Not impressed

My 6 month old puppy was able to completely rip this toy apart and get the squeaker out within a few days of having it.

Tough hippo

Textured Hippo is our dog Bill's third favorite of the 3 stuffed animals we ordered recently from Chewy. The squeaker is larger, so he has more difficulty getting a sound out of it, but he still likes to carry it around. The fabric seems more durable than the fuzzy toys we got, so he has not started pulling the stuffing out yet. So far, so good!
