Don't buy. Neither the Baily the Blue Dog or Kong Cozie Marvin the Moose squeek, although Kong advertises that they squeek. I bought because my seven month old puppy loves squeeky toys. Won't waste my money again on Kong squeeky toys.
We have a litter of boxer pups and the toys that their mother plays with are too tough for them so we stocked up on a couple of toys that we thought they would like. Bingo! They really enjoy playing with this and I'm confident that it will hold up to their little teeth for at least a few weeks, until they're ready for something tougher. Our full grown boxers, I'm sure, would shred this in no time, but it's great for the pups.
This and another Kong toy I bought are still going strong! Bucky has a tendency to go for the throat/face on his toys but the two Kong plushes have outlasted his other toys. When my neighbor puppy-sits, I always throw these toys in his puppy pack to keep him entertained.
Purchased this a couple of weeks ago because a previous foster dog loved this. Benji (lab), however, tore itapart in a couple of days. I am going to try and salvage Bluey by sewing him up flat.
I got three if these, 1 for my dog, and 2 for gifts to other dogs. My dog seems to have kept it together which is rare for him because he’s pretty rough, but the other two were destroyed in the first day or two. Maybe only get this one if your dog is a moderate chewer.
I'm going to start purchasing the next size up for KONG plush toys. The regular sized ones seem to be too small for my 12 pound dog. If she's bigger than the thing, she's destroying the thing. So if you have a tugger/chewer like I do but you want them to have a cuddle buddy, size up. It'll probably last longer too.
I have a 7 month 25lb bordoodle who is not an aggressive chewer. I had to take this and her other Kong stuffed animal away they day I gave them to her because it's tail got ripped off and the seams broke. I expected more from Kong.
It's long been the impression that KONG toys are made to be more durable and sturdy for our puppy partners. But recently, their quality seems to have diminished. Toys guaranteed to withstand even the most aggressive chewers are falling apart in days. Or in the case of this fuzzy stuffy - a matter of minutes.
Puppy loves Bailey, especially the tag, unfortunately. It's a good thing I was watching her. I had to retrieved part of chewed tag from her mouth. Lesson learned! In the future, I shall remove tags, in spite of her love for them.
Bought this for a male puppy English Springer Spaniel for a Christmas gift. Being this was a Kong product, I expected it to hold up more than a 1/2 day. This toy is very cute but would recommend only for a toy or small breed
