Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
Machine wash toy when soiled. Air dry.

GoDog does it again! My 40lb Border Collie loves to make a hole in toys and pull out all the stuffing, this toy has a floppy low stuff body that still holds a nice shape and doesn't get fluff everywhere. It's also nice that he can have a larger toy that's still easy to grip. He loves to toss it around and play tug with it. He also loves to chew on the ears, nose and back ridge scales with his back teeth. He's had this for a few months and its held up well. Most other toys would have been shredded by now or I would have to sewed closed a few times. Will purchase again.
Okay, listen we all know we want that perfect toy. The dream toy. One that no dog rips to shreds. This one is not it. Not sure one is out there. Toys are meant to be used with supervision just like with a human toddler. That being said I've got a little 9lb miniature dachshund that I need to post a photo of with this toy. She is so attached to this one toy I've bought 10. Yes, 10 needed spares. I'm terrified of the day when I can not replace it. She has a routine, at 8:00 pm it's potty time she knows this and runs out. This is the only and I mean only time she will run out to use the bathroom with lightning speed. She will then fly past everyone and anything in her way to make it to the master bedroom. There is her ramp to the bed. Up that ramp her dragon awaits and she runs up grabs it then will run down the ramp through the house showing everyone her dragon. And that it is also time for all to get to bed so she and her favorite dragon can go to bed. She licks that dragon for an hour and yes chews it. Then realizes uhoh she's chewed it and stops. But over time the damage is done. Little holes become larger ones and let me tell you it's tough to trick her into the new one. She knows it's not the same. But after a few nights of looking for her old pal she gives in. I've tried many other ones to replace these dragons nothing works. So for those upset it did not work for your pet. I'm sorry. For us, this dragon has given us more joy then you'll ever know. As I got my little baby dachshund one month after the passing of my daughter. Watching this dachshund carry this dragon about as big as her heals my heart more every day. So tonight I'm ordering yet another dragon. For yet more dragon bedtimes are yet to come.
I got this for my puppy as he loves plushies and such but chews holes in them so was hopeful for something more durable. It looked like it had hope and I gave it to him, I left the room for only two minutes and when I came in he had already taken a leg off and was on to another one. Wished it would have lasted a little longer than two minutes especially with “special chew guard technology”.
I thought I had found a longer lasting toy for my 40 pound pocket bully, but, sadly, this one was destroyed in 10 minutes, and that is only because I had kept telling him to stop trying to kill it. Gutted, de-fluffed, killed. Do not waste your money. I also ordered a different one at the same time as this one, same brand, and it is to arrive tomorrow. Yay. I understand no toy is indestructible, but when it is advertised as having a chew guard fabric, I thought maybe he would get a few days of fun.
Our boy had a habit of absolutely destroying every toy he saw as a puppy. We tried this because it was built for tough chewers, but we weren't holding our breath. I have been absolutely amazed by the quality of this toy. Everything has held up through him losing all of his baby teeth and it is still his favorite toy! The only noticeable wear is to the little spines, but the wings, horns, and ears have all withstood Finley's best efforts to destroy them. I am also a huge fan of the fact that it is not a stuffed toy. We have gotten Finn two other GoDog toys, not because the old ones are damaged, but because we know he loves them and we know they will last!
This toy is nothing like the other GoDog Dragons and nothing like the picture. It is basically an empty, dragon-shaped pillowcase, with a hard squeaker in it. My dog wants nothing to do with it, even though she loves all of her other GoDog dragons. I suspect this thing was defective. It's not worth the trouble to return it; but I won't be buying any more GoDog toys in the future.
I have yet to find a "plush" toy that can withstand the powers of a 1yo Great Dane, and this one held up for about 3 weeks. I call that a win. My "Little Lady" absolutely loves the plush type toys. She runs and leaps and tears around the room when she gets them, where as any "tough chew toy" is exactly that, a lay down and chew it toy. I like to see her more active on her own play times and this did it's job for about 2 weeks before the holes started. an the middle of week 3 we ended up taking it from her so that she wasnt shredding and eating the fabric.
I saw this toy and fell in love with it! It's low key expensive for a not-stuffed animal but worth it. The head is the only part with stuffing. My dog is an intermediate chewer and we have gotten some good miles out of this. We still have half of it a year-ish later. It's too cute!
This quickly became Jacksons favorite toy. He plays nonstop with it. He even takes it to bed with him, and on our car rides. I will definitely purchase this toy again and again. I was a little worries when I first got it. I didnt know it wasnt stuffed. It was after reading some of the reviews that I found that out. Highly recommend this toy
This toy looks NOTHING like the picture since there is NO stuffing in the body or neck. Why show a pic of a plump, stuffed toy that can stand on its legs? You can see from my pics there is nothing to allow it to hold its shape. It looks like DRAGON ROADKILL! VERY disappointing.
