What is the difference between the Kong Cross Knots and Kong Wild Knots?

Answer by ChewyMay 29, 2018
KONG Wild Knots are soft and cuddly on the outside while durable and strong on the inside. The internal knotted rope and squeaker of the KONG Cross Knots satisfies natural instincts and each toy contains less stuffing for less mess.

Both dogs received a bear, the Golden-Siberian Husky an extra large and the Treeing Walker Coonhound a large. Each dog greatly enjoyed their bears. The Goberian had the head opened and stuffing out soon after receiving it but the body held up and remained intact. The Coonhound is still carrying his around and sleeping with it, after dismantling the squeaker:-)

My dog is an aggressive chewer but this toy has held up well. She chewed the ears off right away but nothing more. I’ve been buying more toys for her and it seems like the distraction of many toys has cut down on her destructive chewy. So far, it seems to be working.

Not sure if she likes it...

She will play with the toy if I challenge her.And throw it around. Other than that, she doesn't really touch it. But it's an adorable little tiny bear. I think

No stuffing to clean up appealing

He loved it! It had a longer lasting play time because more inside to tear apart. My concern began to grow when he started tearing off smaller pieces of the inside

He loved it! It had a longer lasting play time because more inside to tear apart. My concern began to grow when he started tearing off smaller pieces of the inside rope that was the knotted bod stuffing. I was afraid he would ingest a small part of the string from rope and cause intestinal problems if it tangled. Probably won’t by again for this reason.

Did not last

I have two dogs and my big boy (85 lbs) had this toy ripped open within two hours of giving it to him. All of the other kong toys I have for them are still intact

I have two dogs and my big boy (85 lbs) had this toy ripped open within two hours of giving it to him. All of the other kong toys I have for them are still intact so I was a little disappointed. I am glad it makes them happy but I just wish it lasted a little longer.

Surprisingly durable for a bite-sized toy! Size-up preferred.

We've got two mini-dachshunds: since our 13lbs Berkley got a Small, it felt fitting for his 9lbs brother, Cocoa, to get a X-Small. It's literally bite-sized! Cocoa

Cocoa can hold + play with it just fine, but he seems to prefers the Small. Probably best for Chihuahuas, puppies, or teacup breeds, but it nonetheless holds up well. Would purchase again.

Love the bear!

It does not hold up under a tough chewer. My 2 year old boxer had it torn open and stuffing coming out of it in the first half an hour of her having it. Need something

Good for Mini Aussie Velociraptor Puppy

I wasn’t sure about this bear at first because my mini Aussie pup severed its ear off in five minutes, but it has turned out to be tougher than it first appeared

I wasn’t sure about this bear at first because my mini Aussie pup severed its ear off in five minutes, but it has turned out to be tougher than it first appeared. He has gnawed the arm off so it has one rope arm which has been fantastic for tug of war. As long as I pull out the reachable stuffing he’s a happy boy.

sturdy bear

Pretty sturdy considering our dogs’ medical ability to perform Squeakerectomies in record time. It is still in the toy box, so that is good.
