My 8 year old cat loves this food. I would like to suggest that CHEWY contact Hill's about the picture on this food--as it is misleading. The food is a pate--which is best for cats-- and not chunks--which can cause cats to vomit if they gulp it down without chewing. Before I purchased it, I called Hill's to make sure it was a pate. The picture on this food needs to be changed to a pate.
My cats really like the flavor of this food. I'm so glad it is available again. It was unavailable during COVID and I had a hard time trying to find something comparable that both of my cats would eat. I also appreciate that this has a 7+ option.
Truth in advertising. Minced is defined as cut up, as in food, in very small pieces. Pate is a paste like substance. The Savory Chicken Entree Canned Food is definitely a pate it is not minced. Some cats will not eat pate. While my girl will eat it she often leaves at least a quarter of a can. Can Chewy do anything to warn folks that this is pate not minced?
I had a cat who used to get urinary crystals. My vet put him on Science Diet and he got healthy again. His sister also got healthier and she was never sick. So I don't feed my cats anything else. I have been using Science Diet for over 30 years. Won't use store bought.
Really good quality food for cats. Recommended by Veterinarians. Easy on-line ordering and quick delivery from vendors. All my cats love science diet cat food.
My cats like this pretty well, but I will try a different texture next time since some of my cats have few or no teeth and have a hard time picking up a smooth pate with their gums, so they lick it down flat and I have to come along and spoon it up into a pile again so they can eat some more. The picture on the can is misleading since it implies that the food is chunky instead of pate. Anyway, I'm glad they like it.
My 9 yr old cat generally doesn’t like wet food. So I was surprised and pleased that she was willing to eat this and seemed to enjoy it.
