My 2 cats both threw up right after eating for the first time

My vet recommended this cat food for my overweight cats. The first time I gave it to them, they both ate it and both immediately threw up as soon as they finished

My vet recommended this cat food for my overweight cats. The first time I gave it to them, they both ate it and both immediately threw up as soon as they finished. I waited a few days and tried to give it to them again, and both smelled it, turned and walked away. They will not eat it.

Finicky cats not too crazy about it

But since I didn't give them other wet food at the time, this was their only choice. I think I will try it again, as there really aren't too many weight management

I think I will try it again, as there really aren't too many weight management wet food options, especially not in the texture they like. This was close, they like the gravy food. Usually lick the gravy and leave the bits with the other food though, so maybe if I give it more time, they will get used to it? I wish they made the same exact formula they like (Fancy Feast gravy lovers) in a weight management formula! Even though they don't eat much (like I said, lick the gravy and leave the food) they are still too overweight so need to find a good replacement.

My cat eats and loves the Hill's Science Diet Perfect Weight Mgmt dry food but wouldn't touch the wet food. He wouldn't even eat it when I mixed it with the wet

My cat eats and loves the Hill's Science Diet Perfect Weight Mgmt dry food but wouldn't touch the wet food. He wouldn't even eat it when I mixed it with the wet food he likes. Oh well. There are other foods he likes. I'll stick with those.

This is Great Cat Food for my Overweight kitty

I love the look of this cat food because it doesn't look like a lot of canned food that looks like mush. Anyway my 3 year old girl loves this food and it's helping

I love the look of this cat food because it doesn't look like a lot of canned food that looks like mush. Anyway my 3 year old girl loves this food and it's helping her to maintain her weight, without adding more. She's a love bug and sort of a couch potato. Trying to get her active is tough. She does get some running in during the day due to her one year old "baby" brother chasing her. Good food that she enjoys eating and that is a HUGE PLUS!
