One of my boys has been on prescription canned food since he was a few months old. That food worked great to solve his issues, but was a financial hit to my budget. He’s a big boy now and I’ve been trying less expensive food to see if he could tolerate it without a tummy blow out. He’s half and half now, with no problem. Does he love it? Ehhh He’ll eat it. I’ll try more flavors.

TLDR: This food is amazing, my cat no longer has any skin issues as he did before. (He would lick his skin to an open wound) It didnt keep him full all day though, which is why I rated it 4 stars Ever since my cat was a kitten, hes had issues with his skin. He was licking his skin until there was no hair, then he would keep going until it was raw, he would continue until he had open wounds and would keep going. I tried so many different cat foods, and although this didnt have the best reviews, I thought I may as well try for his sake. Im so glad I did!! It took about a week to see a change in him, he finally left his skin alone and it has cleared up completely in the past few months. It was a miracle and I hope this food never gets discontinued, I cant stand to see him like that. Now the only reason Ive left 4 stars instead of 5 is because it didnt satiate his hunger, he would start meowing for more food only an hour or two later. Since then I've found a dry food that hasnt triggered a reaction so now I mix the two and he no longer cries for more food.

Got this to help my baby's sensitive tummy. He's 16, possibly has IBD, and has gotten more picky. He vomits more frequently, so I thought this would help bevause it has duck in it. It has a dry texture, which is odd but it seems to work, when he will eat it. I ended up getting a refund and giving it to a shelter.

She's 12 YO & HAS TRIED (or not) ALMOST EVERYTHING. I GIVE HER 1/2 TIN of Hill's Duck Pate EACH A.M., MIXING IN HER "joint health" prescription, Cosequin; thus, IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT THAT SHE GOBBLE UP THE ENTIRE SERVING to get her full amt of Cosequin. SUCCESS OUTTA THE BLUE! How do I deserve this??

It looked very dry

My cats wont eat it. I guess I was expecting a bit more moisture or wetness in the texture.
