I have a 2-year-old cat that struggled with chronic diarrhea ever since he was a small kitten. Nothing I fed him cleared it up, and I thought it was going to be a lifelong issue. I finally had to change his diet because it was causing issues with the skin on his rear. Not even a full day on this food and he's already had a solid stool. I'm very impressed! I'll be keeping him on this brand.

Loves it

I decided to try a different form of Hills Science Diet. We have bought Chicken flavor forever, and Mischa (my cat) seems to love the canned Salmon; therefore, I saw this and decided he was or could be bored with the chicken flavor and thought I'd try a small bag of salmon flavor. He seems to love the change.

Great deal!

Chewy price was even better than Amazon! Plus this is the more difficult HSD product to locate!

Wrong item

When I talked to the customer support person I told them exactly what I wanted but they sent food for digestion health. Now I have a bag of food that my kitty can't eat.

Cats love

So both my cats are picky and they both have sensitive tummy they don't get hair balls as often with this food and they aren't at the bowl eating all day it seems to keep them happy and satiated.

Won't buy again!

A few of my cats have been vomiting ever since I purchased this food. We've had the chicken flavor many times in the past with no issues. The ridiculous cost is also a turn-off. Will be sticking with Purina One Hairball as recommended by my vet.

chronic vomiting cause gastritis & stomach ulcers

I would not recommend this food my cat started vomiting so much. A trip to the ER stated that gastritis and stomach ulcers developed.

Nice and small bites

My kitties are very finicky. They'll sometimes eat this, and sometimes leave it. However, at least they'll munch on it, and the kibble is small

Cats won't eat it

Two of our five cats have been on a special veterinarian diet, so we are on the hunt for a food to transition to that does not need vet approval (and is cheaper!). As they are already on a Hill's food, we gave this and the chicken flavor of this a try. They ate the other just fine, but refuse to eat this at all. NONE of them will touch it. Even if we mix just a tiny amount into the other food (which they all LOVE, by the way), they won't eat it. :(

Solved Our Regurgitation Issue

One of our 3 kitties (not sure which one as I never saw them doing it) suddenly started throwing up all of their kibble immediately after eating it every time we fed them. We had been feeding them Instinct dry food with the freeze dried chicken bits in it. Maybe they developed an intolerance or maybe we got a bad batch, but I switched them to this stuff. Not only have they been able to keep it down, but they seem obsessed with it and continuously ask for more.
