Pretty mild. I briefly smell it after I've poured the litter. Scooping? Barely noticeable. I'm pretty sensitive to smells (headaches, sometimes migraines and nausea, dizziness) and I don't have any reactions. Of course I realize everyone is different

Yes, it is! I've been using for almost 2 yrs. I go through less litter & less mess. The bottom litter used to stick to litter box and was a wet mess. NOT ANYMORE! I get unscented!

I’ve been using chewy’s for quite a while and normally the Arm & Hammer Cat litter is wrapped with a cellophane material to keep the litter inside the box. I also had an order of cat food wet and dry in this delivery. I’m not very happy that most of my litter had spilled out in my box that was delivered to my house and all over everything. Needless to say the mess of cat litter I had to clean up from the floor because it was leaking outside of the actual chewy box. Come on guys can we do a better job than this?

I keep trying other litters that are about the same price or cheaper and have still ended up coming back to this litter every time. It checks all the boxes for how we like the litter to perform. The small texture makes clumps nice and easy to scoop out, less material left behind, the smell of the litter is fresh initially hut stays more fresh as time goes on compared to all of the other brands we have tried (we have tried so many!). It seems to be the cats favorite as well, they seem more exited to use every time it gets cleaned out compared to the other brands which they seemed to act as if they were saying “I guess I’ll use it if I have to.” I can’t get away from this litter; it’s the best quality for the most affordable.

I've been using this now for about a year. I love it! The smell is always great. It does track slightly but the texture is so fine it's an easy clean up. If I had mats under my litter boxes I'm certain there would be no tracking at all. The only grains of the litter are right in front of the box; half the time is probably from when I'm cleaning it haha and need to vacuum right after. My cats seem to love it as well - I never see any litter stuck on their paws as I have with Fresh Step. The pine litter was previously used by my sister (not me) and the dust of the pine was clogging her cats toenails.

The cat litter was fine. It does however, come in fairly heavy boxes, which were packed in the same carton as a 7-pound bag of dry cat food. By the time the carton arrived, the bag of cat food had been opened at the top closure, and a fair amount of cat food had been spilled in the carton. Shipping damage is not uncommon when cat litter is shipped in the same carton as other products. So far, no product has been spoiled to the point that it had to be discarded, however it is a regular aggravation.

I routinely bought Arm & Hammer clumping cat litter out of brand loyalty (proven love for the laundry soap). The boxes are big. The litter has a pleasing scent to it. But the product falls short in our automatic litter box. Yes! It clumps! But the clumps stick to the bottom of the pan... hard. I have (now two) PetSafe automatic litter boxes. Our establish duo are smaller cats who share one litter box. We recently were adopted by a 3rd cat who has become predominantly and indoor cat. He's a BIG tabby who prolifically uses the (now new) litter box. I ordered and set up a second PetSafe automatic for him and opted for Tidy Cat clumping litter to complete the order. So THAT is how it's supposed to work! No settling on the bottom of the tray, no need to hard-rake the litter. I have about 3/4 box of the carton of Arm & Hammer remaining, when it's gone, I am going to switch over to the Tidy Cat for both boxes.

I bought this because it’s a bit cheaper than the litter I had been buying and I’m glad I decided to try it. I previously bought Arm and Hammer Cloud Control because

I bought this because it’s a bit cheaper than the litter I had been buying and I’m glad I decided to try it. I previously bought Arm and Hammer Cloud Control because the litter my cats were using before it was really dusty, so I bought the variety that claimed to best control dust. It did just that, but was pricy, so I took a chance on another type in hopes it would also have very little dust. I find this litter controls the dust just as well and has the added advantage of the clumps not sticking to the litterboxes, making scooping much easier, and it seems to do a better job of controlling odor than Cloud Control (unless all three cats decide to get in their boxes at the same time for synchronized pooping, which happened recently). Overall, the best litter I’ve bought for my cats to date.

Best I’ve found for Odor/Clumping!

I have two kittens, and have been trying to find something that really balances between good clumping, odor control and minimal tracking. I’ve tried multiple Arm and Hammer litter and all of them have the BEST odor control so no issues there. But this one so far has been the better with clumping. The only issue I’m still dealing with is tracking. But I’ve been able to mitigate it with covered boxes and litter trapping mats around it. Just have to vacuum/sweep daily around it whenever I scoop. So I’ll probably stick with this one until I feel confident to try something new for better tracking control!

This is the only litter of any kind that I've found to be truly free of dust. All other clumping litters I have tried--wheat, clay, tofu, bentonite, and mixes--have dust. With this litter, your cat's eyes, fur, and lungs will stay dust-free; so will the items near the box. That alone makes it worth the purchase. It does track, so you'll need a mat to catch that. And although the scent is not strong, I don't love it (kind of chemical-y). But it's the best I've found so far, and the price is reasonable.

I love the Slide litter itself. My gatos love it and it’s very easy to clean up. I receive four boxes of litter per shipment. They are packed two litter boxes per each shipping box. The litter boxes used to come sealed in plastic. Now they come without plastic and the litter leaks out of the boxes and makes a huge mess. I may order one more time and if they come without plastic I will stop my orders going forward.

We usually stock up on litter during the end of the year sales. Having 2 cats (a purrfect Princess who is neat and tidy, and a 15 lb toddler of an orange tabby mess), we go through a bit of litter. Not only is this Secret Sand mainly dust free, but it is excellent at clumping and sealing odors. The clumping of this litter is superb and urine is able to be scooped almost immediately after the cat goes and it comes out in one big ball, it doesn't fall apart. It's low. Tracking (excellent for cats like ours that think they must leave essence a la cat all about. The litter itself does smell a bit like kitty litter, but what do you expect? With free shipping, ordering this litter from Chewy also saved my back from the good ole heave ho from the shelf to the cart to the counter to the cart to the car to the house, the simple porch to house was so much easier! So if you are looking for a recommendation for some Secret Sandbox Supplies, this is your sign: you'll be happy. Your cats will be happy. Your wallet will be happy.
