Questions & Answers

2 Customer Questions

If you do not use contents of entire pouch of this product at once, how long is product good for sealed and refrigerated? How long is Hill's canned wet food good for refrigerated after opening?

Answer by ChewyJul 05, 2021
Prior to opening, store cans and pouches in a place where the temperature is between 50-100°F. Do not freeze canned cat or dog food as it can change the texture and taste of the food. Opened cans and pouches should be stored in the fridge, at temperatures between 40-45°F, for a maximum of 5-7 days. Any cat or dog food remaining after that time should be thrown out.

Answer by ChewyOct 04, 2020
This recipe has a protein content of 38.5%, a phosphorus content of 0.65%, and a sodium content of 0.39%, all on a dry matter basis.

My cat loves this food, and she does very well on two pouches a day as a small cat! However, be warned that it appears the calorie content has changed. The most recent pouches I received were 71 calories, not the 82 calories advertised in the description and pictures. The change affects my cat’s feeding, so wanted to share in case it could affect others! Otherwise, we love the food and pouch format.

Jerry is a very finicky eater, especially at 2 a.m His tastes constantly change. But I've narrowed it down to 2 he likes best. He likes Science Diet tender chicken and I cook him boneless chicken breast. Keeps him happy.

I liked the rate of delivery and thought the product would appeal to my cat.

Unfortunately my cat doesn't seem to like it very much even though I mix it with her old food and I cut this new food into smaller pieces. We will give it some
