Trying to find dog food without chicken. All foods seem to have some kind of chicken in them, this one contains chicken fat. Why? Why can't you guys make chicken free food for puppies, giant puppies preferred. You're not the only ones. My poor Giant Puppy has to eat the same old food every day.

Hello, world! It’s Maple here, and I have some HUGE news: I AM FINALLY EATING MY KIBBLE AND I LOVE IT! For a long time, my human mom worried about me because I’ve been so sick. Eating was tough, and most foods just didn't taste right. It was a stressful time for my mom (and my tummy!). But now, things are looking up! We switched to the Hill's Science Diet Large Breed Lamb Meal & Brown Rice Recipe, and let me tell you, this food is a winner! It smells hearty and delicious, and the size of the kibble is perfect for my big, beautiful Bloodhound mouth. I don't just eat it; I practically inhale it! It feels so good to finally be gobbling down food and getting strong and healthy again. My mom is doing a little happy dance every time I finish my bowl, and honestly, so am I. This food makes my tail wag and my body feel great. If you have a large breed puppy...especially one who's been a little finicky or needed extra care...I highly recommend this recipe. It has the perfect flavor and crunch to get a tough girl like me back on track! I'm so happy to be officially out of the "sick puppy" phase and into the "hungry, growing puppy" phase. Ordered it because our prior puppy food was out of stock and this was the most similar product. It’s a kibble, has an oily feel to it and a fairly strong, to me unpleasant, smell. Pup started out hesitant with the new and old foods mixed but now that it’s all Hill’s, she’s not anxious to eat and is leaving food behind.

Quality of ingredients

I give this to my Siberian husky puppies with milk and/or broth starting at about 4-5 weeks of age and while the kibble bits are bigger they are still able to eat

My puppy ate this for a few weeks. He liked it but it wasn't one he loved eating like he does with the chicken flavor. It also gave him diarrhea which may be a lamb
