How many scoops are in a bag?

Answer by ChewyNov 28, 2023
There would be approximately 79 scoops in a bag of the easy mare supplement. For information on how long a bag will last, please look at the manufacturer page for a ration calculator under each product.

The quick background on our 14 year old thoroughbred broodmare is that she is a very pushy 16.3 hands and having increasing difficulty with her heat cycles. We just concluded that her more regular spells of laying down, thrashing around, pawing and appearing miserable coincided with her being in heat. Up until recently, we were treating these episodes as colic and administering bantamene. The medicine helped somewhat, but it's an expensive treatment once every few weeks. We read up on aging mares and hormonal issues and that's how Easy Mare came into the picture. We are almost through our first bag in under three weeks, but we feel like there is a difference in her temperament. She loves the flavor of the supplement and is licking her bucket to get all of it. We are supposed to use about 5 scoops a day, but we're trying to get by with half of that to see if we get a benefit. The big benefit will be a less anxious, less stressed mare when she hits here heat cycle. We haven't gotten to one yet and we don't expect a miracle experience. If Easy Mare can just take the edge off her cramps and moodiness, it will be a great help and worth the $100.00 per month. We do see that she is a little better of a pasture mate and seems a bit less pushy with her buddies and less territorial around the stalls. So, we are hoping for the best in two or three weeks when we get her first cycle with Easy Mare. If she's still distressed, we'll up to the recommended dosage and give it one more shot. We are pleased with the quality of Easy Mare and can say for sure we are seeing some positive effects of the product. We will see what Easy Mare does for the main problem soon. I am encouraged. I will try to remember to update in a couple of months with a better conclusion on her heat cycles. In the meantime, it would be great if the good folks at Hilton Herbs could come out with a 10 pound bag of Easy Mare with a bit of bulk price break.
