Himalayan Pet Supply Cheese Churro Dental Dog Treats, 16-oz tub

All of my dogs have deeply loved Himalayan Pet Supply products, especially these churros. It's often my go-to gift for new pup parents, too.In the last several years, I've no doubt spent many hundreds of dollars with them. But the consistency and quality is all over the place. This photo is a great example. You expect to receive 16 sticks in these packages. In fact, the only answered question on this page at the time of the review was that each package contains 16 sticks. (And you need to receive 16 in order for this to be a better deal than buying several smaller 4-stick packages.) Yet 40% of the time, I receive fewer than 16 sticks. (Recently, I received as few as 12 sticks in one box!) I recently purchased 3 boxes at once, and predictably one was short 2 sticks. The manufacturer packages by weight, and as you can see, the sticks themselves vary in thickness, color, and density. Before they offered this size, I would buy several 4-packs at once and unbox them into a shared container every month. This is when I discovered that the manufacturer had shrunk them all by nearly an inch while still charging the same price. It's getting harder and harder to justify my loyalty to this company, and I question the direction that Chewy is headed in when these quality control issues go unaddressed, yanno? Eager to get my pup hooked on something else as soon as possible.
