In 2003, after discovering Kaos the dog loved Chhurpi, a traditional cheese chew made from the people of the Himalayas, two brothers and their friend had an idea to create a dog-friendly version. After 4 years of tweaking the ancient recipe, removing the lactose and fat content, they ended up with a tasty and savory, long-lasting chew, now known as a Himalayan Dog Chew. Are these stale before you send them out?

I have purchased these for a long time and they have changed. It used to be that I could easily break the "bone" in half and split it for my two small dogs. Now

I have purchased these for a long time and they have changed. It used to be that I could easily break the "bone" in half and split it for my two small dogs. Now they are exceedingly hard and I can't break them. I have ordered and tried a few other dental chews but the girls like these. I have to wield my chef's knife like a machete to break them. I am going to contact the company to see if they have made change. I don't want a hard bone for senior furbabies with bad teeth (they are rescues). I just want something that they like and can safely chew

Good crunchy treat

My dogs LOVE these! Heard they had been discontinued...but found them on chewy!!... They are already microwaved yak cheese. Hope they will still carry them

Great chews for senior dogs

I have 2 senior Rhodesian Ridgebacks who have had some teeth removed. So many of the dental chews are too hard and can hurt gums or teeth. Found these - the dogs

I have 2 senior Rhodesian Ridgebacks who have had some teeth removed. So many of the dental chews are too hard and can hurt gums or teeth. Found these - the dogs LOVE the flavor and crunch. I used to give them Himalayan treats - but they are too hard. I toasted them in the Microwave to get this texture. Seems to do a decent job of cleaning their teeth. A bit high in calories (34 per treat) but seems to have overall good ingredients.
