our Mb she loves these treats! Wish they came in bigger bags!
Rocko was hesitant at first because he's a picky eater and sensitive. He would just hold it in his mouth and drop it a few times. After a while he caught on and ate them, but it was a little hard so I think it might have hurt his mouth a little bit.
My lab will eat these, but I'd rather get the Himalayan dog chew for him once in a while than have these. They aren't that cheesy, they are very hard (rock hard, you can't break them up into pieces), and you don't get much per bag. He loves the big yak cheese sticks, so I thought these would be a fun thing to have day to day, but it's not the same at all
Usually one of the five dogs has to be the odd man out where treats are concerned; not this time. They all loved it. The pieces aren't real hard, so the seniors can enjoy too.
I select treats I know my dogs will like, but also based on price and volume. I watch all the chewy videos and these "puffs" are much smaller than what's pictured in the video and the product photo. They must have laid the bag flat and moved all the puffs into position to get them to fill the clear cow cutout on the packaging. Video shows much bigger puffs in a larger looking bag. See my pic attached! Dogs love them but not nearly enough for the price.
I am always looking for new treats to give to my babies. These were too hard for them to eat. They sniffed it and turned their heads away...disappointing
This is the first time I have ordered this item. I have two Shih Tzus, and they have very sensitive stomachs. They love these puffs, and they don't have any problems digesting them. I will definitely buy again!!
All four of my dogs do eat them, however, they have this habit of spitting them out at first, every time! I’m not sure if the mouth feel is undesirable or the initial flavor but they all do this & two of my dogs have never refused any kind of treats so is an interesting response.
My dog loved these but after a week they are stale as rocks. My pit won’t even chew on them.
Unfortunately, my puppy did not like these, or any other kinds of treats that are similar to these. He would not eat them in the form of a stick nor as a puffed up snack. These are smaller but they are hard as rocks. I tried to microwave them thinking they would "puff" (almost like popcorn), but they just got harder. My dog is small but by no means a "teacup" size and even he feels these are too hard to break down. I tried numerous times to "trick" him into eating them, even when he was really hungry, but it looks like I have to give up and donate these. I will never buy any Yaky Puff treats for my pet because he just doesn't like them - although I do like their simple ingredients.
