My girls enjoy the Hippy Chick Omega booster. I give it to them several times a week as a snack/treat. Most of my ladies had a hard molt this year and I believe the addition of the superfood blend with added support for feather health helped them recover more quickly. We are extremely pleased with the Hippychick Omega Booster so far. Our chickens immediately started devouring this mix to helps support feather and egg health. There was a good variety of seeds, worms, flaxseed, and all natural ingredients in this supplement. It can be mixed into their feed or fed to them as a treat once per week. The instructions were easy to follow. I will include pictures. I was so excited I even posted their reaction on my Instagram. I will have to post an update in the coming weeks on how it affects their feathers and eggs. They are going through a hard molt right now so it’s perfect timing. So far they just really like the extra snacks.

It’s my first time using this brand of supplements for my girls. I’ve used others previously with limited noticeable results. The hens I’m feeding this to, came to me in rough shape. Since feeding this supplement and changing their diet from one of neglect, to a healthy one - they look like different birds. Their egg production is noticeably higher and the shells are more robust. I’m going to order more of this.

I liked all of the seeds, mushrooms, kale, and marigolds in the mix - so did the chickens. Due to season changes (with a cold snap) and the size of the bag we were not able to test the increased egg production. Though it was a favorite, the 1.25lb bag did not last very long, we have 4 growing hens. The price would be a deterrent for us.

Wow. This treat had to be the equivalent of feeding my hens cake...if the cake were healthy. I could visually see sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, mealworms, peas, and marigold petals. I know that there were a lot more, but these were the ones that I could visually make out. It looks like a great treat for a cold day. How did the hens like it? They went crazy for it! And since several are in a hard molt right now, I figure this healthy treat could only help them out. My only stopping point was the price. A 1.25 pound bag is $24.99, which seems like a lot. Even at the recommended 1 to 2 tablespoons per hen a day, it won't last very long with 7 hens. But maybe as an occasional treat, it might be worth it.

Provided as an evening snack my chickens seem to enjoy it just as much as their regular treat blend. I like the added ingredients of the Marigold and Thyme and specifically the oyster mushrooms. It has not yet been long enough to really see feather benefits of the product. But we have noticed more vibrant yolks. Currently we are at the time of the year that production slows down, so not able to really verify claims of increased egg production. My only real complaint about this product is the price compared the the size of the bag. This product is easily 3x times as much as our current blend per pound (we purchase ingredients and make our own).

My girls love this! It looks 100% better than the treats I've been buying. The meal worms are not all broken up like they are in many treat feeds. I mix it in with my 5 grain scratch to make it go farther. My husband calls it chicken crackscratch I feed extra starting in the fall so they can put on an extra layer (no pu intended)of fat for winter I'm very impressed with the quality ingredients in this product.

We adore our backyard birdies- but the basket of eggs on our counter is the real reason we added the ladies to the family- We want our kiddos getting their nutrients from whole foods loaded with nutrients, and since what our birds eat our kids eat too this omega boosted treat helps us all out. We're pumped to have a whole food option that will fill our eggs with omegas after the girls use what they need to help them feel good....like really good, its our new coop bait & treat before bedtime.
