I like the concept of the pearls, and I ordered the higher protein one for right now since many of my chickens are molting, but they won't touch it. I've left it in their feeder for days and they just won't eat it. Unfortunately for me I bought 3 bags of it. So I will need to look for something else I can mix with it in hopes of trying to get these 3 bags used up.

Within 2 days of my young’s ducks eating this food they both started laying Dailey. They were on duckling crumbles before this and had an egg here or there for a few weeks but this food definitely gave them the nutrition needed to lay. Love the pearls which seem easy to eat.

I really like that this feed is in “pearls” there is no dust or crumbs. My peacock seems to like it more than the pellets I’ve gotten from other brands. I was looking for a higher protein option and the other feeds were not quite fitting the bill. This is a little higher in protein than what I was looking for but I trust that Dr. Pol knows what he’s doing. This is my go to feed now for my peacock.

I love how this all flock comes in a pearl shape so all of my birds can enjoy it, from peafowl to bantam chickens! Being a higher protein level, it helps with egg

Great Little Round Pellets

I love the little pellets; they are the perfect size and there was no crumbled dusty mess in the bag. The chickens seemed to like this food and ate it pretty well

I love the little pellets; they are the perfect size and there was no crumbled dusty mess in the bag. The chickens seemed to like this food and ate it pretty well. I think for laying hens though, the calcium level is on the low side, so you would need to for sure provide oyster shells or other forms of calcium for your hens. I was also told that feeding 28% protein to hens for extended periods was not good on their Kidneys. I don't know if that is true or not. So not sure if I will feed this on a continuous level. Plus, it's quite pricey.

Dr. Pol 28% high protein pearls

I just can't get my flock to eat it. Nope. They'd rather use it for litter, etc., sadly. Maybe the crows outside will eat it. I have no idea why they wont eat this,
