what is the shelf life, and after open how long does it last in fridge?

An unopened package of food will last until the expiration date stamped on the carton. Exposure to air, light, hot temperatures and humidity speeds up the rate at which foods degrade. To limit these effects, keep the food stored in original packaging and store in a cool, dry location. Ideally, after opening, any leftovers should be stored in the refrigerator and should be consumed within 3-5 days.

I don’t know what it is but my dog hates this flavor he used to love it now he doesn’t touch his food when I put some of it in his kibble. How we If i our the Turkey flavor or beef he eats it.

Great choice for a wet dog food

My dogs love this food. I use the food in combination with their kibble and it makes mealtime much more enjoyable for them. I also trust The Honest Kitchen and all the wholesome ingredients they include in their food. My dogs like the chicken and the turkey the best.

GINNY LOVES IT!

Ginny is my 10 yr old little Beagle, diagnosed with bladder cancer 5 months ago. She is fed a raw diet, but this is a great stand in full of healthy ingredients, for a sick pup! When she is having a rough time and doesn't want her usual diet, I will feed her this with some boiled chicken or beef mixed in and she always eats it! Although expensive, I feel it is worth it for a quality, healthy food!

My Dogs Approve

I have 3 chihuahua mixes and they're extremely finicky eaters. They seem to enjoy this food so I will try some of the other flavor. Some people are commenting on not liking the box packaging but theirs a trick to opening the box that works great and doesn't get messy. Pull the top flap up and continue pulling it up until it's puffed completely up and away from the top. Use scissors to cut the flap of and carefully pull each side out. Hold the box about mid way and clinch it just enough that the top sides stay puffed out. Use a spoon to remove the pate from the box. Hope I explained this well enough to understand and I hope it helps those who can't get the pate out of the box without making a mess.

Not for my doggy

It smelled ok, and the ingredients seemed fine but my dog sniffed it and moved away for 3 days. No luck here.

My dog is like the old ad for Life cereal, Mikey likes it! She's a picky eater and seems to like the pate better than the stew.
