I had been feeding my dog another food for a while and he started getting tired of eating the same thing, so I purchased this to mix into the other food to make it more enticing. He loved it! It's a little soupy and watery, so it helps to take a spoon and mix the water into the rest to make it less watery and more of a thin oatmeal type consistency. It's pricey for the amount of food you get, but I know the honest kitchen is pretty reputable with vet nutritionists so it's probably worth it. It's nice to have a pantry stable food for when I run out of homecooked food for my dog and don't have time to make more.
I have 9 dogs of various sizes and ages and they ALL love this stew. I add it as an add-in to their kibble along with a little water. I feel good about their nutrition and they feel good about me.
Both of my small dogs love this food. I mix it and the dehydrated one together.
My dog liked the taste and it looked good but it did give him a lot of gas.
Our dogs love this food. And it's been really well tolerated.
My dog whines impatiently at me while I open up the box and she absolutely loves it! Also, it freezes into molds very nicely for a healthy treat!
My dogs love all of these products. They keep going back to lick the bowls.
My dogs used to love this food, the last 2 orders we have received are a no go. Not only do they smell off the dogs won't even go near it, I contacted chewy because this stuff is not cheap. They had me ship the items back and never processed a refund, first it was donate it then it was we have to get it back. I used to LOVE chewy - the last 6 months has been rough though. I have began shopping anywhere but here because of all of this - truly a disappointment because I used to recommend them to everyone.
Our Dog Did Not Eat The Butcher Block Beef And Lamb Pate, but I tried to find a replacement flavor for the beef and lamb pate, then I found it! Our dog ate it, wow! We have a half Chihuahua,he doesn’t even have four legs! he has three legs. Our dog loved it!
Our sweet Chihuahua has become a "picky" eater since being diagnosed with heart failure (apparently dogs with this condition often have diminished appetites). But he loves this food and eats it with enthusiasm! We find the consistency of the food perfect and are glad that it is mixed completely. And we did not find the box difficult to open if the directions are followed. We do have some concern about the inclusion of broccoli, as it is goitrogenic, but it is only the fifth ingredient, and the food is cooked, so we are hoping its goitrogenic properties are not an issue. However, we would appreciate some response about this from Honest Kitchen. We would give the food five stars if it weren't for this concern.
