Wonderful! A favorite!
This line is my 18 yr old cat’s favorite! We’ve tried so many! This never upsets her tummy and she loves this!! We were really concerned before finding this b/c she had stopped eating and everything was starting to bother her! Now we have zero problems and it’s restored her health significantly!
Happy Cat for Life
I had a finicky cat, but not anymore. She loves The Honest Kitchen. Yes, it's expensive, but look at the alternative. When you give them cheap food, you will a sick pet. I've had my dogs on this for years. Knock on wood...they have ALWAYS come out with a clean bill of health and ZERO CANCER. I'm sold for life. To me, it's like pay now or pay later. I'd rather enjoy my pet healthy and happy for years longer. I know you will agree.
My cat got spoiled
I wanted quite badly to give this 5 stars, but the crunchies are apparently too hard for Himself. He will gladly eat this kibble once moistened with a little warm water, but my picky boy is apparently spoiled by the dehydrated food by the same brand and I now fear that EVERY meal will have to be wet food going forward! If your fluffy faced friend has not yet decided that gravy is a must for every occasion, this is probably a good choice! I really liked the care and attention the company appears to give to their ingredients list, the packaging feels quality and durable enough to properly slow down a cat from breaking into it, and like I said he eats it enthusiastically once it's not dry, so I imagine the flavor is good too! Not as oily smelling as other grain based kibbles either, but sort of fresh smelling instead.

My adult cat ate this, but only reluctantly, then threw it up--over and over again. :-(
Made kitty very very sick!
My cats were both slow to warm up to this food, but then the male kitty started throwing it up all over the place & hasn't been able to keep this food down. I had to completely eliminate it from their diet & now they both seem to be back to eating more of their kitty food since removing this from the mix. I wouldn't recommend it especially if your cats are finicky or suffer any type of tummy upset. Male kitty had no problems with a prior whole food added & I will have to go back to the more expensive version so he doesn't become sick all over again.

None of five cats would eat it. I put it in compost.
Honest kitchen cat food
I love this food because I know my cats are eating healthy diets. I wish the price was lower but you get what you pay for. Only the best for my 3 babies.
Tiny bites, not a fan
I’m sad that this didn’t work out for us, because Norm has thrived on Honest Kitchen dehydrated food for many years. I wanted to add a high quality dry food to our rotation for the sake of his teeth, so I was excited to find this. Unfortunately the pieces are so tiny that when I can convince him to eat them he just swallows them whole without chewing, which defeats the purpose. Also he just doesn’t seem to recognize it as food- When I set a full dish down in front of him he reacts as if it’s empty, and if I hold out some pieces like treats he sniffs over them and right past them. He’s never reacted to any other food this way, and is a fan of the dehydrated food in the same flavor. Guess we’re going to keep looking.
Cats like, me not sure
The cats seem to like it but I'm not sure because of the use of 2 types of legumes in the 1st five ingredients. I usually read ingredients before buying. That being said and having used HK dehydrated for dogs for many years, I trust HK uses quality ingredients but I still wonder about legumes as a protein for cats or dogs. Maybe ok for occasional use.
