Waylon likes this food...and it likes him! Waylon is my GSD with many food & environmental allergies/sensitivities. Between Apoquel, Cytopoint, Claratin, Benadryl, immuno-therapy shots, frequent Ketohex baths, and air filters, we keep his allergies and GI issues mostly in check with certain months of the year better than others. When Holistic Select Rabbit & Lamb dry dog food was discontinued Sept 2023, we tried 5 different quality dry dog foods before finding Horizon Legacy at Chewy. It seems to be helping Waylon a lot with firmer poos and less overall itching. Although he doesn't really need to lose weight, the lower fat content combined with a dollop of various Evanger's canned dog food for toppers, seems to agree with his GI tract! And it doesn't have the grains, white & sweet potatoes, etc. that Waylon is allergic to. If you have a "science project" too, you might want to give this a try!
