Ordered two of these balls, the blue blueberry one and the green green apple. The blue color does not look anything like the pictures. The quality is very poor and were destroyed in just a matter of minutes from light play. The green one was dirty just in packaging I feel like it was a return someone didn’t want, the paper on the ball didn’t look”new”. Really disappointed as they were a birthday present and were a week late and then this.. save your money. Hopefully chewy sees this so I can get a refund :(
I have very playful horses, but for some reason they aren't playing with the ball, but it's not the ball's fault. I threw the ball in my dog yard and my dogs love it. It seems very durable and it's a great size for my larger Brittanys.
We have an older jelly ball that is thicker and stronger than this one. This thing is paper thin. My 16 pound Terrier ripped the handle right off of it in less than five minutes. Just like some other companies. They try to go cheaper on quality to save a buck. Would not recommend this. DONT BUY!
Our Great Dane/Lab mix tends to tear things up as soon as he gets them. He loves playing with this item but we had to take it away from him within 20 minutes to prevent him chewing up the handle. Now he only gets to play with it when we are there to play with him.
My boys really enjoy these balls. We have had quite a few of them. They don’t last for a long time but we get a month or two out of them. They enjoy them so much that I just keep replacing them.
I gave it 3 stars because my Aussie popped it in just a few days. It gets 3 stars cause even while being popped it’s still functional.
Not sure if they changed the materials lately but this particular ball did not last 2 play sessions with my boy. In the past jolly balls have been a big hit with both horses and dogs but first green color I ve had so maybe that are just not as durable as other colors . I have a pink one that is 2 yrs old and they can’t destroy it. So thinking may be made cheaper these days.
Bought this to help keep young donkey entertained, turns out it’s been the toy the dog has been waiting for! I’m not sure I have seen him so happy and play for so long with one toy/ball! Even had the donkey running around with him (best buddies). The Jolly Ball is one of only a few toys that has lasted with my aggressive chewer, normally can destroy toys in less than 10mins. Have had the Jolly ball almost 2 weeks and it is still in one piece!
Just got these today and had to take away within 20 minutes. My frenchie and English tore right through the handles and pieces breaking off. Wouldn't buy for dogs that love to chew, it won't last. I'm fairly disappointed.
Olive is a 50 lb. lab and like many labs we think she is part goat. She easily destroys many balls, but not this one. Most importantly she loves to play with it everyday and after two weeks it is still in tact. Great and fun ball.
