Does the coat run true to size?

This coat does run true to size. The sizing chart may be located by clicking the “Size” tab, on the product page. To select the best size we recommend that you measure your dog's length, chest girth (circumference) and neck girth (circumference). To measure the length you'll measure starting at the base of the neck and end at the base of the tail. To measure the chest girth you'll measure around the broadest part of the rib-cage behind the front legs and to measure for the neck girth you'll measure at the broadest part of the neck. If the dog happens to be in between sizes, it's then recommended to select the bigger size.

This coat does not have an opening in the back however, there is room for a leash to attach to the pets neck collar.

This dog coat is made for dogs of all breed sizes. We suggest measuring your pet to find the most accurate size. For the length, or body length measure the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Add 2 inches for comfort. For the neck, measure around your dog's neck leaving room for two fingers. For the chest, measure your dog's chest around the widest part. Add 2 inches for comfort. If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two.
