The dogs were excited to play with this new toy. I love having one that doesn’t constantly squeak. The sound that it makes when it is shook is much quieter than a squeaker too. The textured wings are a nice touch for hiding on during tugging. My dog likes to chew on the top of the wing and so far the seam has held up too. I was nervous when I got it because the back didn’t seem to be sewed tightly, but it has held up.

I have a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever so duck themed toys are a hot item in my house. What I like best about this toy is it is the "Goldilocks" size, not too little, not too big. It's wingspan is about 13 inches and it is about 10 inches nose to toes. Larger toys often get dissected into smaller pieces and smaller toys are just not interesting. My dog likes to shake and swing her toys and catch them in the air. The wings on this duck are perfect for a launch! It is made of ballistic nylon so it's durable, it is just soft enough for her to grab without being too hard that she loses interest. I was a bit concerned about the wings which are flexible plastic with a ballistic nylon backing but so far so good -- not punctured and not showing wear and tear. On top of all that it's cute and actually looks like a duck. She loves it!

The duck toy is an instant hit with our dogs. Our cattle dog mix is really into playing with toys and he immediately took to running around with the duck. He enjoys grabbing it by the wings and shaking it around. The wings have a grippy silicone insert that keeps it from flying out of his mouth. It also makes a quiet squeak/quack noise only when it's shaken around. Even our dog that isn't so much into toys joined in for some tug of war with his brother. The toy feels well made and I'm grateful it's not overly loud.

I got this toy for the hounds in our family. They always like going to search for animals. The only thing I disliked about this that it didn’t have a squeaker more so I had a duck noise which made a noise when you shook it. I think I would’ve enjoyed more if it was a squeaker. But still a great toy!

My dogs are very hard on toys, between the games of keep-away, tugging, squeaking and just carrying around, toys take a beating. My guys have been playing with this duck for a week now - it is the first toy the grab and it has been put through the wringer. I was a bit skeptical that the plastic-type material covering the wings would last, but it has held up beautifully and the size of the duck is perfect for a 20 pound dog’s mouth.
