Dane Proof!
My Great Dane is a chewer! She normally has toys dismembered within an hour or less. Not this guy! She has had this moose for a few months and, besides a hole in one of the front paws, this toy has stood up to her chewing and tug of war play! She loves to use it as her napping companion too! This is her new favorite toy and I will definitely purchase this brand again. I do agree the hair on the chin needs to go as that was the first thing she tore off and tried to swallow but overall this toy is tough and a favorite!
Dog loves it but lacking in durability
I got this toy as a gift for my dog about two years ago and it held up pretty well with only minor tearing at the legs and beard area but felt like we should get a new one since it’s my dogs favorite toy and it looked a bit rough. For some reason the replacement we got just a few months ago is in worse shape then the original. I feel like the quality or stitching isn’t as good as it used to be. It didn’t last long before it had to be thrown out. I give it 3 stars for my dog loving it but would give less for the ‘durability’
Love these
I have a Kerry Blue Terrier and he loves these toys! The variety of locations for the squeakers are great. My pooch likes to remove all appendages with surgical precision until all that is left is a torso. Then time for a new one :)
Not as durable as I hoped
Lily had two legs, one antler, and most of the stuffing removed within a day of having this toy
Not worth the $$
We had a previous HuggleHounds toy that was amazing. This one didn't last more than 24 hours. After I stitched the back closed, our dog tore off one of the arms. In three days she ripped the head off and took out all the stuffing. Not sure I will order another item from HuggleHounds
Worst purchase ever!
Worst purchase ever! I cannot believe they advertise this is adorable. It lasted one day for our corgi. The hair on the top with shredded off in 10 minutes. The next day, she had it open and was running around with the squeaker, which she could’ve easily swallowed. Do not waste your money!
Mr. Moose for the win
My fur baby and I love this toy so much. He’s a standard GoldenDoodle and at first I thought this toy would be gone in a day but it’s day 4 and the toy is still alive!!!! The only thing I would do before giving your dog this toy is to cut the tag off and cut some of the hair off of the toy as well u less you like to have hair all over your floor. But I highly recommend this toy.
Disappointed
We got this for our collie puppy who is only 9 weeks old. It didn't last a day. Yes, he played with it but he also ripped a hole in the nose where the fuzz was & got to the stuffing. It ended up in the trash. ☹️
First Toy, Favorite Toy
We adopted a puppy brought up from Texas from a rescue. This was his first toy and his favorite toy. Okay, EVERY stuffed dog toy is his favorite toy. He chews on it all day long and it shows no signs of tearing.
Premature carcass
We received this "tough toy" on Saturday. We were disappointed to find that only 4 out of the 5 squeakers worked right out of the package. We liked the fact that the big squeaker was fairly quiet and not an annoying pitch. Which is why we give it 2 stars. Bottom line, I am writing this review early Monday morning. The moose, alas is unstuffed and a mere carcass after just 2 days of play with our almost 6 month old Rottweiler pup. Sad that we spent so much on a toy that was so easily ripped and gutted.
