I was excited to get this product as my senior mare has suspensory problems in both hind legs. I really thought this might feel cold and help. Of course, she couldn't tell me how it felt, but since I had to get it on my hands to apply it, I can tell you that could not feel any coolness at all. The arthritic soreness in my fingers felt much better, though. So, I'd say that while it does alleviate some muscle discomfort, it does not create a sense of coldness.

I have a horse that has a sweat mark on shoulder w/o sweating anywhere else. I tried this on it and saw no difference and of course it is too difficult to get the horse to tell me if it worked and made it feel better. There is no limitations on what she can do anyway. But this liniment has arnica in it as the first ingredient so it definitely is some good stuff.

My arthritic OTTB loves this stuff, when the weather changes he gets stiff. I like to put this on and let him sit for a few minutes then we take a little walk.

My arthritic OTTB loves this stuff, when the weather changes he gets stiff. I like to put this on and let him sit for a few minutes then we take a little walk. When I put it on he licks and chews pretty much instantly. I think the added MSM is helpful! Definitely wear gloves when applying, and if you’re sensitive to smells use it outside.
