All the cats go through this door to enter and exit the laundry room to the screened in porch. The only problem I had was that the bottom section of my double hung window had to be removed because of the size. It was a smaller window. We had to build up around this cat door. But it works wonderfully now and everyone is happy. The swinging door does not always close all the way but not that big of a deal. Otherwise, good quality product that I would purchase again.

A great all weather solution

It’s really nice and my cats absolutely love it. It goes out to their catio. The only issue we have had is our 2 cats can unlock/lock it. They unlocked it in the middle of the night and locked themselves out of the house lol Good thing they were safe in the catio :) Beware cats are very intelligent creatures!

Optional uses

Great to have the 4 options. In only, out only, in/out, closed. He brought in some "things", so now he is restricted to "out only". But that works for us.

The purpose of a pet door is to allow your animals to go in and out of an area...the sash is so poorly designed on this unit it has gaps on the bottom corner and side that allows bugs to get in...also the bottom is not weighted enough to keep it closed of the wind blows...and it is not heaving enough to make sure it closes completely ...so it is intermittant. For the price it could be better. The thought is good , if only they had not been cheap when designing the middle section.

Easy to install

My cat has figured out how to switch the lever from closed to open. Wish this came with a sliding lock out door.

Ease of installation

Took our cats 2-3 days to get the hang of it. Now they come and go at will. It’s great.

It fits the window well, and the clear panes mean it doesn’t block light. The cats figured out how to use it very quickly. That being said, the locking functionality is garbage. We’ve had it for four days and they already figured out how to open it even while fully locked. Additionally, the flap does not close fully unless the exit/entrance is very quick and smooth, which means last night one of my cats figured out how to open the locked door and go out onto the catio and that left a space open (didn’t close securely), so another cat was able to follow. The latter cat was unable to get back in afterward because he couldn’t figure out how to sneak around the locked door once the first cat went back in. Anyway, he wound up being locked out most of the night and having a confrontation with a skunk. There aren’t a lot of options for window doors so I’m stuck with it I guess, but they really need to address that issue. The most basic functionality of door is open/close/lock.
