This cat door window is perfect. The window is made extremely well and should last for years. It took a few days for my cat to understand the process, but now she is a pro at using it. Be prepared if your cat is a hunter, you may get a few “gifts”. I put a tension rod above the open window so that it could not be opened by someone trying to gain access to my house.

This is the exact type of entry we were looking for when deciding on which catio option to purchase. It’s easy to install and simple enough for the cats to figure out how to use. The flap took a big of practice, but now our cats come in and out as they please. The instructions were easy to follow and installation was fairly quick. No issues with bugs or temperature changes due to this.

Do yourself a favor and do not buy this cat door. The locking mechanism is very poorly constructed it doesn't lock and my cat is now outside I guess she'll be outside

They had a good idea they screwed it up by putting a cheap locking mechanism once again SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY SOMETHING QUALITY MADE THIS THING IS JUNK.

It is doing what I wanted it to do, which is sit in a window and provide catio access. It was easy to set up and reasonably priced. Cons are largely noted in other reviews - this is not a weather tight seal. The wind sometimes blows the door open. Additionally the locking mechanism is cheap plastic. I'm sure it will break. My cat has both pawed it into undesirable positions and forced his way out when it was locked. If you are not buying it for the locking feature, it's probably a good choice. But I would not trust my cats safety with that plastic switch.
