Instructions
The Collapsible crate is not designed for dogs who escape or show signs of anxiety. Although this crate is much stronger than traditional wire and plastic crates, the hinges and folding design of this crate is not ideal for anxious dogs. We have specifically designed the High Anxiety dog crate for destructive and escape-artist dogs.

A sturdy and welcoming crate.
This crate is very sturdy. Previously Bruno, my 60# German Shepherd has “broken” heavy duty wire crates. He even got out of one when both doors were still locked

A little intimidating

Lots of things to dislike
I bought 2 Impact crates from the manufacturer. The good is their customer service is responsive and helpful. One of the crates had a defective door latch and
I bought 2 Impact crates from the manufacturer. The good is their customer service is responsive and helpful. One of the crates had a defective door latch and had to be returned and replaced. They no longer had the color, just a few days after my order had arrived. I wanted both crates to match, but had to replace defective crate with a different color which was a big disappointment to not match. The crates have many negatives. 1. They are not a standard size and do not fit in the car as well as standard sized crates. 2. They are very heavy and hard to move (I got 20" and 30" so not biggest ones). Also collapsible 30" one is hard to assemble due to size and weight. Not real portable for me. 3. They totally block the view in the back of the vehicle. 4. It is hard to find a clip to fit the holes to attach a water bucket. Normal carabiner and bolt clips don't fit. 5. For a very heavy coated dogs, not good ventilation and their fans are expensive but have been out of stock for over 3 months. 6. Very expensive. 7. I can't identify the source as the crates appear sturdy, but there is a metal vibration/rattle sound when driving with them in the car. They are not rubbing against anything. 8. Anchoring them in the car is a challenge, as there are no attachment points and only place for straps is through handles. So the good things are the customer service and my dog with motion sickness doesn't seem to have quite as much problem in this vs old crate. Otherwise I regret my purchase.
A welcome surprise
It was easily collapsable, and gives us freedom to leave the house for a few hours and help our pup with her anxiety. Well made.

This was my second Impact crate. They are solid, my dogs love them, and I feel they are safe when traveling. Unfortunately, I needed a crate with a side door as it was the second crate in a RAV4- Yes, two Intermediate size crates will fit! Chewy was the best to deal with. Love them.

We're absolutely thrilled with this crate! Our pup, Luna, was struggling with crate training and experiencing significant anxiety. The crate's collapsibility is perfect for our frequent travels, making it incredibly convenient. Luna has taken to it wonderfully, finding comfort both inside and atop the crate. While it's a joke, we half wonder if there's some secret calming ingredient in there because it truly is the best crate we've encountered. Its value is undeniable. With a new puppy unexpectedly joining our family, it looks like we'll be investing in another Impact crate soon!
