This rating is based on my opinion , of course. Each pouch contained what literally looks and feels like a piece of chicken. My three cats were unimpressed. I ended up using it as a food topper for my dog. I would say though, if you've never tried them it's worth buying a package and giving it a shot. It might just be my cats.

My 4 cats were highly enthusiastic about these fillets from the moment I first opened them and nearly batted the plate out of my hands. Lots of vigorous licking

My 4 cats were highly enthusiastic about these fillets from the moment I first opened them and nearly batted the plate out of my hands. Lots of vigorous licking then commenced. But not a one of them could figure out how to bite into them to break off pieces. Once I shredded the fillet, they again ravenously dug in and the bits disappeared quickly. You'd think I hadn't fed them in ages. So, highly recommend them as a treat, and probably even better as a training tool. But don't be disappointed if your pet is likewise not a hunting/killing machine who knows how to eat whole foods.
