Supports Daily Wellness

Made with real beef, this comprehensive recipe features a blend of ingredients carefully chosen to support key health objectives, including brain and heart health, digestive and liver function, and healthy muscle performance. Feed every day for best results.

Minimally Processed and Never Cooked

Eating a diet rich in minimally processed foods is just as good for our pets as it is for us. Instinct raw recipes are made with responsibly sourced meat and non-GMO fruits and vegetables that are minimally processed—and never cooked—to keep their nutrients intact. Less processed food allows for better digestion and nutrient absorption, so your furry friend gets more nutrients with every bite.

The Raw Difference

Unlike traditional, cooked pet foods, raw pet food retains more important antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins and minerals that are key to better health. Feeding as little as 20% raw as part of your pet’s diet can have a positive impact on your pet’s life. Common changes noticed by pet parents who feed raw include better digestion, improved skin and coat, improved weight, relief from food sensitivities, and increased energy and vitality.

Got these for one of my cats to try to entice her to eat but she didn't like them. Figured I'd try them with our less picky eater and she ate them but very soon after she threw everything up and continued to throw up 5 more times in the course of 5 minutes. At first I didn't think it was the topper and initially chalked it up to be immediately playing after eating, but the next two times we tried it she threw up multiple times again. Anytime we fed her without these, she was fine. Def not trying these again unfortunately

He LOVES it!

Howard is a strange kitty. He only likes dry kibble so getting extra nutrition is tough. He loves the toppers so much that he'll take me to the closet it's in and

Tempting Topper

Both of my cats really enjoy this topper. I place about 5 (for each) on top of their wet food and they always eat them.

To economize I now buy Fancy Feast which my 13-year-old rescue cat preferred over pricier brands anyway. To supplement FF, I bought Smallbatch booster. Recently Smallbatch changed its recipe, sizes and price, and I had to look for a replacement. Luckily, I tried a small package of Instinct topper and my cat liked it better than Smallbatch. Now I'm adjusting her menu to FF with Instinct Boost Mixers Multivitamin and phasing out kibble. She eats up the Instinct and is smart enough to drink water afterwards. I've noticed the quality of her stools improved too.
