Handling Tips:
Keep frozen until ready to use. Defrost your pet's daily portion by thawing it in a covered container in the refrigerator overnight or for approximately 4 to 6 hours. Patties should be cold to the touch when served.
Wash hands, working surfaces, utensils, bowls and any other items that come in contact with raw meat or poultry with hot, soapy water.
If your pet does not consume all the food presented within 30 minutes, discard any leftovers.
Keep package sealed to maintain freshness.
Always introduce a new food over a period of 5 to 7 days, mixing increasing amounts of Instinct with the current food each day.
Visit the Instinct Pet Food website for more specific feeding recommendations and information on how to easily combine different forms of food.
I was hopeful with these frozen Pattie’s. The price point was great but the quality was less than. Once these are thawed it looks like those YouTube videos that show what McNuggets dare made of. It’s like a thick pink slimy sludge. It smells awful. My pups ate this for one day and that night my border collie vomited in her bed. It smelled so sour and rotten that it made me ill by the smell. Thank goodness my Husband was home to help. My rat terrier and my border collie haven’t eaten at all today because this gave them such bad tummy problems. Even when they breathe you can smell the smell of rot. It’s made them have gas and bad breath that smells of bloated roadkill on a 100° day. I’m sorry for the visual, but I want anyone who’s wanting to try this for their own fur babies to know ALL the god bad and ugly. If it works for your babies that’s great. I really wish it had for ours. Sadly it’s made them very ill.
Maybe not for all dogs; I fed as instructed slow transformation; however, my dog got sick and refused to eat. Being a dog and horse owner for many years, I know the importance of a gradual transfer in feeding, but it didn't work for us.
I'm thrilled with this, My almost 15 year old chi had no digestive issues switching to this food. It arrived solidly frozen and it's so easy to use. I really think my girl has more energy since we started using this raw diet. We also bought the beef and we will be trying that next
How did I miss that. I just thought I was reordering the pellets. We will see if he likes this product. Today he left at the pellets and ate the kibble.
This is a great product for my pomapoo pup. Its the right size of patty and I dont have to cut it. This dog food offers so many benefits and seems to be tasty. Its a great price too.
so devastated that Bear do not like it. He walked to his bowl sniffed and walk away, my heart drop. He came back to his food a few times smelling and not want to eat. I follow the instructions to mix with this food. He despise it. I then try to use one spoon mixed. He actually eat around the little parts and not touch the patty. I have a whole bag of frozen patties. I do not know what to do. My dogs is picky
Very happy that you now have bundle packs of the raw frozen patties and bites.
My dogs do well on Instinct Raw. I rotate their Raw food. My dogs have not had any digestive problems with Instinct
My girl is a very fussy eater and she likes this very much. she does prefer the bite size the best.
We have been using frozen raw for about 11 years for our dogs. When we first started buying this for our 13 year toy poodle, Duke, we noticed an improvement in his fur. His coat got thicker and his energy level increased. He lived to the age of 19. Now we feed our two other poodles the same product.
