are this suppose to be refrigerated or can we just leave them in room tempature ?

An unopened package of food will last until the expiration date stamped on the carton. Exposure to air, light, hot temperatures and humidity speeds up the rate at which foods degrade. To limit these effects, keep the food stored in original packaging and store in a cool, dry location. Ideally, after opening, any leftovers should be stored in the refrigerator and should be consumed within 3-5 days.

can this be used as a topper for a 6month old puppy?

We feed our dog (70 lbs, 7 mos old, German Shepherd / Belgian Malinois mix) 2-3 times per day. Would it be ok to add this to every meal? If so, do I add a full pouch or just partial? and do I reduce the amount of his dry food given if I’m adding some of this?

The amount of food your pet requires will vary depending on their age, breed and activity level, but a pet's weight is one of the most accurate ways to judge how much to feed them. When combining wet and dry foods, it is best to take into account the pets daily caloric needs and ration the wet and dry foods accordingly to provide them with appropriate nutrition and calories. If uncertain, we recommend consulting with your veterinarian.

Great for picky eater

I use about a third of a packet as a food topper and Bella loves it, she is often a stubborn eater but now with Healthy Craving added she really wolfs it down.

Rusty loves it

My dog is getting older,12 to 13. He seemed to be losing his appetite and had to be coached to eat his meals. Since using these toppers, that issue has disappeared

My dog is getting older,12 to 13. He seemed to be losing his appetite and had to be coached to eat his meals. Since using these toppers, that issue has disappeared. I use one third of the pouch for each meal to make the product last longer. I will buy again

It's convenient

I bought this to encourage my dog to eat her breakfast before 3:00 or later in the afternoon. I use about half the package and mix it with her dry food. Unfortunately,

I bought this to encourage my dog to eat her breakfast before 3:00 or later in the afternoon. I use about half the package and mix it with her dry food. Unfortunately, it didn't help and she still rates her breakfast whenever she pleases. There is nothing wrong with the product, just something with my dog. :-)

When I tell you, nothing gets my dogs to enjoy dinner more than these. We don’t use it everyday but we do every once in a while as a special treat on their dinner!

Be Careful

My dogs have loved these toppers and would recommend with one major caution. About 1 in 5 packages is rotten. You'll notice that some of the pieces of meat are

My dogs have loved these toppers and would recommend with one major caution. About 1 in 5 packages is rotten. You'll notice that some of the pieces of meat are pink-ish (as they should be) and some are brown. Each time I've given the dog packages that look like this they got really sick. First time or two I didn't put together what was going on. Now that I know what to look for I throw those packages away. The last box I got, 2/3 of the box were rotten. Stopped buying the product because I waste so much money throwing away bad packets. Doesn't seem to matter which flavor, just guessing it's something in the storage or shipping.
