They do not source any of the meat or poultry from China. All of the poultry and pork come from the U.S., the beef is from the U.S. and New Zealand, lamb is from the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand, venison is imported from Australia and New Zealand, and the rabbit is imported from France and Italy. Do they use non GMO peas and other vegetables?
Answer by • Mar 11, 2018
This product is not GMO-free.
What is the taurine content on a dry matter basis?
Answer by • May 07, 2020
Instinct does not test for taurine in any of their formulas. Meat naturally contains a lot of taurine through amino acids methionine and cysteine and is the primary source of naturally derived taurine. Because their recipes are meat-rich at Instinct, all recipes have more than adequate levels of these naturally-occurring amino acids given the amount of animal ingredients they include. Because taurine naturally occurs in their recipes, they do not need to supplement with taurine in their diets.
