What is the percentage of Taurine? Also, would this be good for senior (13+) cats?

This variety contains approximately 0.33% Taurine content on an as fed basis (0.36% on a dry matter basis). It is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for all life stages.

How is the food stored? When I open the bag, can I keep it at room temperature, with a bag clamp? Or does the bag need to stay in the freezer?

This food does not require refrigeration. An unopened bag of food will last until the expiration date stamped on the bag. Ideally, dry food and treats should be consumed within 6-8 weeks of opening the bag. Exposure to air, light, hot temperatures and humidity speeds up the rate at which foods degrade. To limit these effects, keep dry foods in their original packaging and store in a cool, dry location.

I got this food for my ferrets and my elderly cat to try. My ferrets wouldn’t touch it and my elderly cat will only eat it if I mix other food in with it. I tried

I got this food for my ferrets and my elderly cat to try. My ferrets wouldn’t touch it and my elderly cat will only eat it if I mix other food in with it. I tried that with the ferrets too but that didn’t trick them. I had extra bags sent to me because of them being lost in the mail. I’ve donated those to the people impacted by flooding in KY. But it seems like good quality food and I’ve heard a lot of good things. It just didn’t work for my fur babies.

I have girl cats I love a billion, and they really loved this food. I always try to make sure that they get the same amount of freeze dried pieces as each other,

I have girl cats I love a billion, and they really loved this food. I always try to make sure that they get the same amount of freeze dried pieces as each other, because those are the pieces they both eat first. This food will always hold a special place in my heart as being the food that finally helped Big gain weight. She weighed 8lbs at 3yrs old when her sister Small weighed 12lbs at the same time, so the size difference between them always worried me that she wasn't eating well enough somehow. After going through one bag of this food with the two of them, she now weights over 10lbs and I am no longer scared enough for her health to ask the vet if they're sure there's nothing wrong with her in regards to her size (the vet said: she's just a skinny cat, but she's healthy; and this never put me at ease).

Great ingredients. Sometimes the chicken-marshmallows were stale.

I mixed this with a base food when my older cat was still alive and would get picky about his food. I appreciated the ingredients and how it kept my little man going

Through my research so far which still can be more extensive, I have found Raw Boost Indoor Real Chicken Recipe Grain-Free Dry Cat Food to be a good choice of a healthy dry food to feed my now 11 year old cat. He has been eating this brand interchanged with the Salmon recipe for a good portion of his life. The couple of years have also added Instincts assorted wet can foods to his daily diet.
