Description

Your pal can now enjoy the great outdoors safely and comfortably with the Intelli-Stayk from IntelliLeash. This tie-out isn't your average stake. Equipped with its own Surface-Lock technology, it resists bending, breaking, tangling and uprooting by restricting side-to-side movement. The Intelli-Stayk was specifically designed to stay upright, even if your dog sees a squirrel and jerks the leash. This ensures your pup stays put and keeps him safe. Simply twist the chrome-plated steel into the grass and push the surface-lock cup into the ground. The saw teeth on the bottom of the cap will help you ensure it's secure! Portable and re-mountable, you can use this tie-out in your yard, at the park or wherever you take your furry friend. With the Intelli-Stayk, you can feel confident that your pal stays right where you want him.

Key Benefits
  • Surface-Lock cup provides extra strength and security, preventing the stake from tipping onto its side if your dog pulls.
  • Portable and re-mountable stake goes where you go—so you can confidently bring your pal to dog-friendly parks, relatives' homes and more.
  • 10-millimeter steel handle includes a leash-attachment ring for small dogs, and large leashes can be hooked directly to the handle.
  • The raised platform stops leashes and cables from wrapping around, creating a tangle-resistant stake that won't shorten your dog's leash.
  • Unique Surface-Lock cap inserts easily into the ground with jagged teeth to ensure the Intelli-Stayk is secure.

    Very sturdy. Will buy again.

We've had our current one for a year. It holds our 80lb pitbull just fine. We move the stake around the yard depending on where we are working. Some areas of the yard are softer than others. As long as we used packed soil, it was hard to install and even harder for the dog to pull. We need to replace it because, in spite of being marked, it was run over with the riding mower. The stake bent but didn't break. Amazing quality.

    Love this item

We got this for our border collie to go along with a 40 ft tie out lead to hold us over until we can install a fence. He can reach almost our whole yard now and is loving it! Seems very sturdy and took a lot of effort to get it into the ground...it’s not going anywhere.

    Broke easily

It looks very heavy duty, its huge but apparently my friend broke it easily just trying to install it in the ground lol, there are better ones out there

    only lasted 20 mins

    By on

I purchased this tie out stake because it had good reviews for strong dogs. I have a 90lb dog who pulled this stake out of the ground in less than 20mins. I would not recommend this item to anyone who has a strong dog. I cannot speak for someone with a small dog but definitely would not recommend for someone with a medium sized dog or larger

    Not the best design

    By on

While the stake is secure, the top plastic part is like a chew magnet for our pup. Also, if you use it with the bottom cup and at some point want to move it to a different location, you'll end up pulling up a large chunk of grass which pops out along with the plastic cup. I should have just purchased the normal metal stake type instead of this fancier version.

Live over pretty rocky stuff. Stake took 2 teenage girls to sink but 75 pound GSD has NOT budged it! Yaa!!

    Poor quality

Poor quality. Only lasted two weeks before my dog yanked it out of the ground.

    Not suitable for sandy soil.

    By on

We live in south Florida and bought this based on reviews saying it held up well in sandy soil with a 100+ lb dog. Installation was easy, however it ripped right out of the ground as soon as our 65lb dog started to chase something. We will be returning this stake, as it serves no purpose for us. 1 stars out of 5 - would not recommend.

    Disappointment

    By on

I was disappointed that chewy did not have the cable that goes with this stake listed in its inventory. The stake looks like just what we need to keep our American Bulldog in the yard but I can't use it with the cable we already have and it is not easy finding one compatible.

    Strong item

    By on

Item works very well. I have a large breed Cane Corso, 95lbs. Stake is able to keep her in her own area. She sometimes pulls when excited but stake remains in place in the ground.
