These work but barely, I only bought them because Chewy was out of AlphaTrac lancet. I have arthritis of the hands, they are hard to hold and I don't think that these go as deep as the Alpha Trac. I have a Gordon Setter, the only place that he wants to let you take a sample is the elbow callus, and I don't use the pen holder. With these I seem to have to stick him twice to get enough to test. With the Alpha Trac it was once. Its also easier to cap the Alpha Trac without sticking yourself.
I have used these lancets several times. They work as expected. They fit in the AlphaTrak2 lancet device well. Only draw back is that they turn in the device when taking the top off. I just hold my finger against the lancet to keep it from turning and it works out fine. I only need to use the lancet once as it pricks my cats ear just fine the first time. I have 2 diabetic cats so I use a lot of lancets and test strips!!!
I purchased these when my usual lancets were out of stock. I needed them in a hurry to test my dog's glucose level. These lancets didn't puncture as well as the other brand. It would take many tries or hurt my dog and make her squeal. I guess sometimes you really do get what you pay for.
these lances are just OK but harder to take caps off when inserted into unit. Doesn't lock in place properly.
