Not puppy proof!

This lightweight playpen was perfect to give our puppies a safe start. We are using the six panel model to confine two Maltese dogs. They are secured inside and they do not move or damage the sides. The small gate in one panel allows them to have free entry when they are supervised. The pen is big enough for food, water , a small bed and a pee pad for necessities. With all those items, there is still room for a few toys and two pups to play. Our pups are less than five lbs. I am not sure how it would be for a large dog.
Circles too big for a Maltese skull
She could fit her head through those circles. I would recommend this for larger dogs. I gave it to our pet rescue here in Idaho Falls.

Not appropriate for very small dogs

We have an 11 week old Yorkie. The pen seemed to be working out for us especially with the door to opened and closed when needed. Jovie would put her little snout through honeycomb but it wouldn't allow her head through...or so we thought. I walked back from the kitchen and saw her hanging by her head completely through the hole. She was able to put her snout in the hole...then turn her head slightly and flatten her ears. When she turned her head back to the vertical position,,,,her ears wouldn't allow her head to go back through. It took my husband 15 minutes to work with his tools to break the honeycomb plastic shape. I came close to calling the fire department. We are so grateful that we found her so quickly. When it seems like their head won't fit through, it only took a slight turn on the hexagonal to make it possible. Please make people aware that this could happen...not just a weight thing but the head shape as well. Thankful for a good outcome but I don't think the hexagonal shape should be used for very small dogs...add a caution to the product information.
Good for small dogs
Contains the dog well however, I have to step over it when I want to enter because the door is only for the dog

I like it because Sheba is a puppy and wants to get under my feet.
I liked it but Sheba wasn’t to crazy about it. She doesn't like to be confined

Made very well.
Two doors one on the side and one on the front. It has one latch on each door and that makes it easier to unlatch in the middle of the night for potty training.

Ease of putting pen together

The holes on the walls of the pen were used for my little dog to climb up and get over the pen, the amazing part is the walls act as a ladder for a dog to get into an accident and get hurt! YOU NEED TO RECONFIGURE THE WALLS SO A FOG CAN NOT GET HURT!!! Try to come up with vertical plastic bars on the side walls so dog CANNOT CLIMB up.!!!
Sturdy and provides a large, open confinement area

I keep this in my studio/office where the puppy doesn't have to be on a house line, but can move about and play quietly. I'm always in his sight, so this is a convenient mode of confinement that the pup likes. However, putting the sections together is difficult, even for my husband's hands.
