How is this made for short snouted dogs since the measurements for both short and long snouted are exactly the same?

The dimensions of both bowls are the same, but the raised areas in the center of the short snouted styles are much shorter than those of the long snouted variety.

Could these work for cats? My cats tend to gobble their food down and then they throw up whole un chewed kernels because they ate too fast.

The bowls are easy to clean. This bowl for short-snouted dogs holds 1 full cup of kibble easily and is perfect for our dog. But if your dog eats 2 cups of kibble at a meal, this bowl might be a little too shallow.

Works great for our little miss piggy Luna
