Im disappointed to write this review, being everything from Chewy has always been great! This playpen is VERY unstable and the way it connects is not great nor that easy. In order to stabilize, it has to be positioned in a certain way but its still VERY unstable.
Oops
My 10 week old 4.5 lb pup climbed up and right over it! I was hoping to use this when I'm working outside or bringing him to Friends homes, but not anymore. I really like the concept of this item. I wish it would have worked out.
Yorkie playpen
Bought for 2# Yorkie puppy. Has worked great! Keeps him contained and safe when needed. Keep the gate open while home for him to go back and forth and he's now very comfortable being inside.
Nice and Sturdy!
This really is a very great plastic crate for a puppy! We happened across it when we were looking for crates for our new corgi puppy and saw the reviews were very solid for this one. Very easy to put together and I'm happy that they sell separate panels to add to it while our little potato grows!
Pen isn’t Houdini proof
Great product, light weight, easy to install, expandable. However, my 9 week old, 9 lb, Mini Aussiedoodle figured out how to climb over the top in under and hour after her first visit.
Great for puppies!
I purchased this for my foster puppies to give them a little more space from a regular wire kennel. I am so glad I got it because it has really come in handy. For reference the two pups are about 6 lbs each in this photo and they are in a cat bed. The Pawtect washable pee pad also from Chewy (34x36 size) fits perfectly as the floor mat to protect. It is under the pee pads you see in the photo. It is durable, easy to wipe down, lightweight, and easy to move. 10/10 recommend!

This is great! I would purchase again. I have a yorkie and it’s perfect for him. More space than I thought as well.
Not great for climbers
My 11 lb puppy quickly discovered she could use the holes in the fence for her feet to climb over. She does okay when I'm in the same room with her but I was hoping to have a few minutes to get dressed while she played securely in a pen. The playpen came easy to put together and I've been able to move it room to room by flattening it. Would be a great product if it wasn't so easily climbed.
A few issues
I generally love everything from Chewy, but this is one exception. I really like the size of this pen and it's perfect for two young chihuahua puppies. We later ordered 2 extender panels and have ended up not using them for now while the pups are so small, because it makes the pen less stable. Here are the issues: it's overpriced for a cheap plastic pen (but isn't most plastic stuff?) and we really wish they would have enclosed the bottom few inches of the inside of each panel. Because puppies are not yet potty-trained, they sometimes go in the pen and the nooks and crannies of the inside of the pen walls are perfect spots for feces, urine and bacteria to thrive. It's only happened a couple of times, but because the plastic is not enclosed or covered, it makes it labor intensive to clean.
