Does the bowl holder slide on wood floors?

It says maximum capacity is 8 cups. Does that mean 4 cups in each bowl and 8 total or 8 cups per bowl?

Answer by ChewyJun 12, 2019
Each bowl holds 4 cups.

what is the height of the bowl stand

Answer by ChewyMay 23, 2019
This elevated dog feeder is 12.25 inches tall.

My dog is 24 inches from the front paws to the top of the shoulder ... is this food bowl too short ?

Answer by ChewyApr 14, 2020
To determine the correct height for a dog food bowl by measuring your standing dog from the floor beneath the front paws up to the top of the shoulders and then subtract approximately 6 inches. Dogs should be able to eat without lowering their necks or stretching them upwards. The top of a dog food bowl at the correct height should sit level with the dog’s lower chest.

Great height

This feeding station provides much better posture during eating and drinking. I feel like my dog is much more comfortable; she definitely looks it!

For the price point, I guess it's ok, but it's best to continuously check and tighten the screws that hold the legs in place. Even at it's best, it's wobbly and a bit unsecure. If you have a dog that vigorously eats, this won't be good. I've stopped using it because despite my attention to the legs, they keep coming unattached while my dog eats or drinks, dumping full water dishes and scaring her. She's older and gentle, but it's just cheaply made. I didn't expect a lot for the price, but don't think this is really worth it.

Made very cheap

The bowls were the best thing about it. The rest of it was made very cheap and not very sturdy.

It’s not 8 cup bowls. Maybe they’re 8 cups between the bowls

Not big enough for a hundred lbs dogs. That why I wanted bigger bowls to make it easier for them to eat out of. Like the other set of bowls I bought at the pet

I have an anxious dog, and I knew it would take some time for her to get used to this feeder but oh my goodness! The wobbling! When I put it together one of the legs just kept wobbling. When my dog ate from it, it kept moving and the bowls weren't the most secure. They would shift while she ate. Really sad this didn't work.

Weak

Very weak doesn’t have the sturdy feel for gaint dogs . It’s probably good enough for medium size dogs but not good for my giants
