Dogs love it, sizing charts wrot
My dogs were both thrilled the minute I pulled the bed out of the box. They both really like it. I was looking for a bed that would fit in their kennel to replace worn out beds, but the sizing charts were wrong so the jumbo is too big for the kennels. Within the load more Q&A chewy lists the accurate sizing of the beds. I wish they would update the sizing somewhere more visible. My senior dogs don't need kennels but they like them. I'm going to take one down and rearrange the room to try to find a place for the bed that's a few inches larger than planned. The bed is great, but the inaccurate size charts don't lead to the best buy if you're planning on a specific total size. I bought the jumbo for 42x37 kennels.
He Loved It
Our little man Flynn had many beds in our home but at the age of 15 we figured he need another. Once introduced to this bed he instantly wanted to lay on it any moment he got. Unfortunately, he didn't get to enjoy it long enough because we lost him earlier this month. I am just so happy he loved this one so much. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a older dog and need more comfort for their joints and body. However, I can see that this would wear down quicker with a heavier dog. This is a large bed for a 9 lb, 12 inch tall pomeranian. He would've probably never wore it down at all. It also came in perfect condition once taken out of the airtight packaging as well. False information about this bed on chewy site
Purchsed as it looks so good and sounds like incredible and when I received, shocking quality. as attached pictures-- the form is flat there are NO Shooting pressure points and it is just regular sponge not Medical grade ORTHOPEDIC form. says 3" thickness? this sponge does not evely raised as seen on the picture. one side is less than 1cm, soo bad quality. I even doubt about this sponge is safety! could be toxic
bad quality assurance
I Ordered this very same bed in Oct of 2021 for half of the price I just paid for this replacement, and got shorted, literally. Specification dimensions said 53x42.5x11 (in inches) This bed is 53x39x7. This bed is noticeably smaller and not what I was expecting. Bolsters not big enough, not the same size as the first one I ordered even though it’s literally the same bed I ordered, just a different color. Very disappointed for paying twice as much for half the same bed. Order in 2021 was $81 and change, this year, 2023 order was $156 and change, same bed. Won’t be ordering from here again.
Very Pretty, But ...
Looks very nice on outside, was easy to put together. Came with somewhat unpleasant smells. Twice I washed the bed cover oh-so-carefully, gentle cycle, and dried it on air dry, and then aired it out for over a week, but smell--while somewhat lessened, persists. The inside of the cover sheds a lot so have a lint brush handy. The inside "cushion" also came with an odor but this dissipated with a week of airing out. Sounds like less than a 4-star review, but dog bed options were limited, and product does look and feel lovely on the outside.
Orthopedic Dog Bed
I needed to get my little doggies new dog beds. Rather than get two beds I bought just one bigger one for both of them since they always lay together anyway. This bed looks very comfy but I really don't care too much for the way it slides all over the place on the hardwood floors. It would be great on carpet. I'm sorry I didn't pay closer attention to what the material was on the bottom of it. I wouldn't recommend this bed for anyone with hardwood floors. Not worth the money.
Absolutely unbelievable
Having purchased two of the jumbo sizes and loved them, I thought I’d order a smaller one for my smaller dog. What a mistake!! The bed comes in this little box because everything is vacuum packed. When opening the box and the plastic bag, I found that not only was the bed not assembled, but the egg crate was flattened beyond being able to use it. No orthopedic qualities here at all! Absolutely disappointed in the quality of professionalism of this company. No where in the description did it state that “assembly” was required. This is absolute bs!
It’s definitely big enough!!!
Our 170 lb English Mastiff Willow is very comfortable in the bed and has plenty of room. We bought the largest size. It’s kinda huge but it’s what we needed. Make sure to measure the area where you are gonna place the bed before ordering. It arrives vacuum packed and will expand a bunch after cutting the plastic. Giant breeds are the best :-)
Do NOT buy!
This bed is very poor quality. The foam inside is such low grade it falls apart inside the bed. I have an 11 lb puppy and took the cover off to wash it. The inside is destroyed and unsafe for a puppy. The foam is all over my house! I cannot believe how much money I spent on this bed for it to look like this after less than a month of use!
LOVE this bed
Our dogs (all 3) are obsessed. The jumbo size beds are huge, but hold their shape well, allowing the dogs the structure to rest their bodies/heads up against the sides. The cushioning is thick and soft - they were easy to assemble and believe will be easy to wash. Clearly a good quality purchase.
