This is a good litter box, it will hold a complete tidy cat tub. I’m using it without liners & it’s great for my 2 cats to help stop all the litter on the floor

I recently downsized, leaving us with a cramped laundry room for the cat pans. To say there isn’t a lot of room for the 2 old-style cat pans, plus without lids,

I recently downsized, leaving us with a cramped laundry room for the cat pans. To say there isn’t a lot of room for the 2 old-style cat pans, plus without lids, is an understatement, After researching, I bought 1 of these IRIS top entry cat pans, which take up so much less area in the small laundry room. I wasn’t sure if my cats would like this style, being so different from their tried & true, but they absolutely love it! So much so, I ordered a 2nd. My other concern was the top might not hold up to my 1 large cat, but the lid is very sturdy and there has been no issue with this Iris design. We are all satisfied with this product!

Not dog proof

We bought this to keep our small dog out of the cat litter. Unfortunately anywhere the cats can get the dog can too.

I wanted this to work.

It seemed almost perfect. Except that the folds in the plastic liner made scooping dirty litter difficult. Unfortunately my three cats wouldn’t use it.

I thought this would work great! First, the bag sent is entirely too big for the box causing ripples all in the bottom. I had put the recommended 2” of litter when that didn’t work, I put abt half of a 5 gallon litter box in it because when my cat scratched to cover her waste, she catches the bag and rips holes in it. I have tried putting more litter but she still scratched the bag up and rips holes. Then I have a huge mess because I have to pick up the entire box to empty the whole container out and pull the ripped bag from the litter when I dump it. Also have tried to find better fitting trash bags but so far I haven’t found the correct size. If anyone has answers to help with this, I would greatly appreciate it.

This litter box is very visually appealing! The 3 part component was really odd to me, like you definitely have to use the trash bags in it otherwise I'd think the way the second part sits in the bottom part would create a perfect space for bacteria to get trapped in and eventually get smelly. If your cat is already used to top entrance litter boxes, this is a good option. Unfortunately my cat hated it, and resorted to peeing on me in my bed at 1 am.
