How would you suggest going about introducing a cat to this if they’ve only used a traditional litter box?

It's recommended to add some litter from your old litter box into their new one and place the new litter box in the same spot you've had the old litter box. You may like to try placing your cat on top of litter box and offer some treats.
Is the top removable to allow access for scooping/cleaning?

The Top is able to be removed for easy cleaning.
Is the bottom of the pan completely flat with no grooves or ridges around the edges? It is more difficult to scoop if there are grooves/edges. Thank you.

The bottom on the inside of this product is completely flat.

Stops a heavy digger

My kitten digs so much in her litter box, more litter would end up on my floor than in her box. This setup has basically eliminated tracking litter all over the house, and it’s big enough for her to turn around and dig her little heart out. My only concern is that when the time comes it may be hard to clean, it’s pretty large and a cumbersome shape. But it’s worked very well for us.

No Lid?

I ordered this on Nov 7th, It arrived quick opened the box and it had NO LID!!!! Called customer service, they were great and very helpful and got a new box sent to me. Well it arrived today and there is still NO LID!!!!! Now I have 2 unusable litter boxes and I don't even want another one sent to me because I don't need 3 litter boxes I can't use.

Beautiful design but my cat doesn’t love it

My cat tried using this litter box but unfortunately she ended up not liking it. She’s an average size 5 year old adult cat (9 lbs) and probably was just used to going outdoors before she was taken in. I’m not sure if this is the case with all cats but I think she needs a lot more headroom (or might possibly just need open air).

Great!

This is a great litter box! The cats easily figured out how to get in an out, and now litter stays in when they decide to launch out. The hole in the top is big enough to not to have to take the top off the clean it, and the hanging scoop is great. Another bonus is that it keeps the dog out!

Miss Kitty Refused to Use Top Entry Litter Box

I had no problems with this litter box. It was large and seemed well-made. To install the lid, you must insert the tab in the slot then compress the two buttons on the other end of the lid so that they go into the round holes in the box. However, no matter what I tried my kitty absolutely refused to enter the box. I tried every possible position. Placing enticing food inside the empty box and also catnip. I ended up donating this litter box to a kitty foster home. I think if my kitty were a kitten or maybe a juvenile 1 year old or less, she might have been persuaded, but at 5+ yrs. she is already set in her ways.

3 kittens and owner are happy! lol

I just recently became a momma to 3 little kittens and the work to keep up with their traditional litter box was horrible. I ordered 2 of these boxes and oh my! It was made a world of a difference ! About 90% less sand on the floor! The kittens were playing with their litter sand before and would create such a mess. Not with this one! Highly recommend.
